Starting the thread for those submitting their Outland spousal this month, as I could not find an existing thread.

• Principal Applicant: Pakistan
• Application Type: Outland Spousal sponsorship
• AOR: Awaited

I have a few questions about applying for a Dual Intent Temporary Resident Visa (TRV):

1. When is the best time or application stage to apply for a Dual Intent TRV?
2. Is it advisable to apply for a TRV for the spouse?
3. Could applying for a TRV create any problems with the current Spousal Permanent Residency (PR) application?
4. What is the success rate for this type of TRV application?
5. When can I expect to receive AOR to spouse? For the UCI for TRV.

I have read on the forum that it's better to wait until receiving AOR for spousal sponsorship before applying for TRV.

1- After you receive AOR
2- from my personal circle and contacts TRV applications for Pakistani applicants after sposusal PR is extremely low.
3-No, it has no impact on PR application, two are exclusively independent applications
4-Depends on application. If you can prove ties, proper financial supporrt, travel history and intent of the applicant to go back at the end of her TRV term shouldn't be a problem.
5-Official time is from a month to three months. By analyzing the current timelines applicants are getting it in 10-12 days
