Yes, I am seeing various responses and leaving upto readers to decide. In a true sense immigration would involve any status be it visitor / student/ temporary Worker/ Spouse etc... For an example if you hold Passport other than waiver free countries, then you will need B1/B2 visitor visa stamp to visit USA , which is an equivalent to Visitor status as per immigration. Immigration status as per USCIS is any visa/stamp/I-94 hold to visit or any temporary stay in US.
I hope you are aware that certain countries tend to share Immigration details among each other(USA/UK/Canada/Australia/New Zealand...)and a lot can be found about one's personal history in case of any discrepancies/check done by Canadian Agencies.
Yes, exactly! You have a immigration status (visitor, student etc.) for the period you are in a foreign country...especially if you needed a visa. I am not sure if it is the same if you were visiting a visa free country but that is not often the case for most of us.

I am getting mixed reviews. I know majority didn't provide visitor visa information. There is no correct answer up till now.

Even consultant and lawyers don't have any consensus on this. I highly doubt if we call tourist visa an immigration status. Basic question is what does immigration means it sounds pretty confusing!

Hey folks, my wife and I both submitted Citizenship application online SEPARATELY in late April. I received my AOR on May 5th, although no further update ever since. But my wife still hasn't received her AOR. She contacted IRCC via webform and just got a super generic response today,

Code:
We have verified the information you provided and want to thank you for your patience and understanding regarding the delay in answering your enquiry.

We would like to confirm that the information found in your online account is the most up-to-date, so no additional information can be provided by the Client Support Centre agents.

For this reason we invite you to continue to check your application status online. If you have outstanding questions, you may visit the contact us page and select the appropriate option for your enquiry

What confuses us is that IRCC mentioned "online account" but she does not have an online account in the new Citizenship tracker (Citizenship Application Status) since she has no AOR or application number. Does this reply mean her application has been accepted and is being processed?

Is anyone experience the same issue here? Any advice on what we can do next?

Thanks

Apparently they used a standard response.

The only handle you have to track down the application is the UCI.

You can try to submit a webform here: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp?v2 with a prominent header like "AOR NOT RECEIVED AFTER 3 MONTHS" as well as you can call their phone line.
