Same here (Apr-2021 applicant). No updates since we received our AOR in July 2021
Applied online - April 09, 2021 Whitehorse, Yukon
AOR - August 23, 2021
I am not sure about Visa office.

I don't know what to think but I think my case is particular (Maybe not)
Got my AOR fairly quickly - Then I got an FP request in October which I sent and was received.
On December 3rd I received the Test Invite - I took and passed the test on December 18th.
The test was marked as completed on December 21st, 2021
But EVERYTHING ELSE IS STILL IN PROGRESS - I thought Background needed to be completed prior to getting a test invite etc...
Has anybody ever seen something similar?

not necessarily, I know a few who got BG completed after they gave FP and Test

I had the same situation. They asked for finger prints early November. They received it end of November.
I was invited and passed my test in November too.
There was radio silence after. On the 25th Jan’22 my BG was Updated to complete.
So I would say wait for about 6-8 weeks for things to move along.
Don’t stress, it’s completely normal.

Did you get any movement after BG is completed? Right now I am stuck at BG completed.
AOR mid-July. FP request and test invite ate beginning of Nov. Test complete mid-Nov. BG complete mid-January. DM end of January. Now just waiting for an oath date.
