Any one still waiting for Oath from Vancouver office?
Last update was January 31st

Yes my partner is still waiting last update March 4.. we called IRCC they said background check is pending and it’s with another third party company also it can take up to 27 months for the whole process to complete.. they basically said stfu and don’t call us again

My wife and I are presently located in a same city but our son is in a different city and our Oath ceremony is n June 1st.
My PR card is with my son so is it possible that I can request the agent to allow my son to show my PR card on the Camera and cut it on my behalf during our virtual Oath ceremony? I do have my DL license with me.
Kindly advise

I have been waiting for 3+ weeks for my citizenship certificate. I know they mentioned 2-4 weeks but still. It is about to get 4 weeks in few days. Any comment?

Citizenship

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on May 10, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on August 10, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on September 27, 2021.
4. We sent you correspondence on November 25, 2021 for finger prints.
5. Finger prints received December 2
6. We sent you a notice on March 6 for Citizenship test. Test done March 19, 2022.
7. We sent you notice on April 27, 2022 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on May 17, 2022 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
8. You became a Canadian citizen on May 17, 2022.. AND SO IT WAS DONE. TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE STILL WAITING, I HOPE YOUR DAY WILL ARRIVE SOON. KEEP THE FAITH.

Hi, I would have a query? If you may please , during the ceremony I have herd a paper is send to you to downlead print and scan back - is there a field there on which I can put my new address for correspondence. I have since moved from the address I have on file?

You can verbally update your new address to the IRCC officer(s) who would talk to you before and after the ceremony during the same zoom session
