Hi Andy, did you get your citizenship certificate? How many days they took to send the certificate?

I got in-person invitation for Oath Ceremony so I got certificate right away at the ceremony

My Citizenship Oath status has changed to "Completed". Does that mean the certificate has been printed and will be dispatched. For those who had been through this, how long did it take for you to get the certificate after the status changed to completed?

Hi y'all, any idea how long on an average it takes from Test to Oath invite currently? CIC website says 3-4 months but what's the trend?

It took 6.5 months for me. Scarborough office. But average time taken from the test to the oath is around 4-5 months.

My Oath completed on 19th Aug. Still waiting for the certificate. Online status updated to completed on 25th August.

It took 6.5 months for me. Scarborough office. But average time taken from the test to the oath is around 4-5 months.

It is going to be 5 months for me in a few days for me

My application status changed to closed on Sep 16th.
Oath completion got updated on the same day as my oath i.e. Sep 15th

Oath completion got updated on the same day as my oath i.e. Sep 15th

Feb 21st, 2022: Took the Citizenship test
Feb 21st, 2022: Citizenship Test completed
Aug 3rd, 2022: Language, Prohibitions and Physical presence completed
Aug 10th, 2022: Status Updated to Oath scheduled on Sep 15th
Sep 15th 2022: Oath completed

From this forum - the time from test to oath is ranging from 3-7 months. In some cases it is even longer.

Yes. Someone got the Oath invite in 2 weeks. those are exceptions.
Average is 3-5 months. It took me 6.5 months.

It depends on the status of your Background check and Physical presence calculation.
If background check was completed before the test, you should get the invite to take the Oath anytime before 6/7 months.
