that's great, and ya if you have created online account you can link your app by clicking onto add or link your account, and put your infos.
May be they processed enough for this year, and they will process next year for after that.
Hmm hopefully not! This isn't supposed to be a quota-based application, so I don't think that should be the case.
Hi all, decided to join this thread after months of watching! Wait game continues along with many of you here. Didn't apply for OWP since I am on PGWP expiring in July 2021. PR application was received on April 14, 2020. Calls to IRCC tells application is complete. The application number that is mentioned in the biometrics reminder letter is going to be the AOR going forward. However, file is in temporary list presently and cannot be linked now. I have been advised to apply for open work permit in late March 2021, if PR is not finalized by then.

My OWP was approved today! Inland application, received April 28. I was able to link my application to my online account last Wednesday, and had no updates until I checked this morning when it said they had begun processing. By end of day it was approved! Thing's are moving, and they're moving quick when they do 
I think you would need to link it, I didn't receive an email to say my work permit was approved but that there was an update in my account
