Will do, thanks!I suggest you give them a call again and hopefully this time around you get to speak with a different agent. Sometimes, some of them just provide you with wrong information.

No worries. It simply means your case is still in process. Currently, they don't need u to provide biometrics and medical results.Hi, can one of you tell me what this means?
Call centre automated message tells "your appln recd on Apr 14. We have not started processing yet. Your background check is being done. We do not need addln docs at this point. We do not need your medical. We do not need your finger prints. If further docs needed, we will ask (wordings to this effect)
I have not done biometrics in the past (was not a requirement in 2018 when I got my work permit). I have done RCMP and sent with my appln (I assume this has nothing to do with biometrics). I had done medical in 2018 and am pretty sure that will not hold good now.
Appreciate an explanation from one of you, forum mates. Thanks in advance!

IRCC is currently accepting biometric results if the applicant already had it done before providing that it is still valid. Medical exam will still be required as part of PR process. They will ask for medical request down the road likely to be last step required before issuing Final Decision status. No worries. It simply means your case is still in process. You are right! Received Biometrics instruction letter today. No worries. It simply means your case is still in process. Currently, they don't need u to provide biometrics and medical results.
Not really.Hi Daniel, were they American addresses? I read that postal codes aren't mandatory for oversea outside of North america addresses. However, USA and Canada full addresses are mandatory.
Yeah, It's apparently normal. They listed online that they received the OWP application before we actually mailed the application. ie: They received the PR/OWP application on the April 15 but the OWP online says they received it April 6th. It's bizarre.June applicant here with a question about the linked OWP. Is it normal that the receipt date of the OWP in GcKEY is earlier than the date the OWP+PR application was physically received at CPC Mississauga?
thank you!! just wanted to double check that it was normal.Yeah, It's apparently normal.
