hi every body can any one tell what shall i do in quetion 5, cit0002e-2 form, i have only one name which is at birth, shall i rewrite it in the table of quetion 5 or leave it empty, because in the help says (if you have used any other names other than the one being requested in your grant citizenship application
For consistency, if you are PR holder, used exactly the name which is mentioned in your current passport and also in your PR card.

Hi

1. No, she has to be resident in Canada'
Write a tweet to IRCC; they generally respond and guide, sometime in 7-10 days (replies must be in received order)

Based on the following explanation, if you did not change your name, you should not need to fill it. Right?

We need to know all of the names you have ever used in order to verify your identity. If you used any other names other than the one being requested in your grant of citizenship application, print them in the chart. Examples: Name at time of birth, name before marriage, previous married names, married name, nick names or any other names you have used.
Correct. I referred to the quote you mentioned. I didn't change my name and they're asking the names other than the application name. I'm good. It scared me. Thanks for your reply. :)

I have one question about FBI - Identity History Summary Request Confirmation
When I submit my request to FBI, I forgot to include the mail option, so that I only have pdf electronic version, and then I print it out.
Is it OK to use the print out version? I remembered the checklist mentioned it should be original version.
Is there anyone has the similar experience? What is the original version looks like?

Dear all,

Regarding question 12 (b) filing your income tax in the last 5 years

I landed in Canada as a PR in April 2017, Therefore I believe I did not require to file taxes for years 2015 and 2016.

So please advise if the below answer is correct based on my circumstances?

Year Required to file Taxes filed
2019 Yes Yes
2018 Yes Yes
2017 Yes Yes
2016 No No
2015 No No

Many thanks

Yes thats correct, you need to mark as No and No for 2016 and 2015 as you were n't present in Canada.

Hey All, hope everyone is doing well and staying safe...

Question, Is IRCC/CIC working on applications submitted? or should I wait to send my file?

Also, has anyone faced any issues with the date calculator from CIC? It is not calculating correctly for me, and missing a lot of days. Is there a way to rectify this?

Kindly let me know what you guys think?

Thanks!

Thank you for creating this thread.

I am preparing my application. Which way it is better to send our application, by Canada Post or by courier, such as UPS or FedEX? I read in other threads that sometimes they don't receive the application package and people need to send them again after 5-6 months.

i have the same question, by the way how did you answer question 5 of the application

I have just one name, so I kept it blank. Or I can write not applicable.

If you click "?" the following message will pop up:

"We need to know all the names you have ever used in your life, so we can verify your identity. If you have used any other names other than the one being requested in your grant of citizenship application, print them in the chart."
