right, but CIC contacts only once they start working on your application and you have a file number.Incorrect. Yes they have been known to call under various circumstances. They are also known to show up at places of residence - rare, but happens.
Honestly, IRCC is so inconsistent I wouldn't put it past them. Anyways, if you feel your rep is lying you really should fire them.Yes I know they call but in initial stage of recieving package nefore giving AOR1
You can apply for spousal sponsorship right after marriage if you are wondering that is. Length of marriage has nothing to do with your ability to apply, it does strengthen your case of genuine relationship though. How long was everyone here married before applying for spousal sponsorship?
I was curious how many couples are basically spending their first year(s) of marriage apart...You can apply for spousal sponsorship right after marriage if you are wondering that is. If you are casually asking, then no worries.
A lot I feel. A few are living with their couples outside of Canada and a few live in the country for the whole process. Its a hard phase.I was curious how many couples are basically spending their first year(s) of marriage apart...
Have your PA call them and find out.Another day gone!!!
We were requested for medical exam on 31st .we have not received any mail and not even in gc account . It is frustrating called cic and agent didn't tell me anythinh as i am sponsor.
I got married in October 2018, submitted sponsorship application in Jan 2019. Got an email from my lawyer “CIC has asked us to pay the $150 dependent child sponsorship fee. With recent changes they also require that the right of permanent residence fee ($490) for outside sponsorship applications be paid in advance. Please let me know what credit card to use for this and I will send them the receipts.” I’m not sure if that’s the case or anything such happened. They said it’s not their fault as IRCC never updated about this change.I was curious how many couples are basically spending their first year(s) of marriage apart...
