April 2019 applications

Hi guys, I want to update you all. I'm under Vancouver office and finally had online ceremony 2 weeks ago.

My original ceremony date was February 7, which had to be rescheduled because of my unavailability. Then I was invited for ceremony on April 9 which was canceled due to COVID-19.

I had online ceremony on July 9 and received my Citizenship certificate this Thursday or Friday - July 23/24.

I'm so happy this whole process is finally finished. I wish you all luck and hope you have your ceremonies as soon as possible.

I've updated the google sheet for reference.

Congratulations. My oath was scheduled on 28th Mar for Vancouver office but no updates.

I am a single applicant from Toronto, applied in April 2019, status in processing as of Sep 19th. Since then no update, No test invite yet. Whats going on?

Same here! Everywhere and everyone resumed their activities except CIC processing the citizenship applications! Not really sure what is hindering them to send the test invites to people. They can easily maintain the physical distancing, numbers, etc., in their test rooms!

My original ceremony date was March 27th- cancelled duo to Covid.
On July 14th I recived email invitation for virtual ceremony for July 20th.

Same here! from Calgary. No idea what is going on. I thought I am the only one on the planet who didn't receive the citizenship from the April 2019 applicants.

I got an invite yesterday for Zoom Oath Ceremony today at 8:30 AM. So it finally brings completion to a long journey...
