Hi All,

Here is my timeline for sponsoring my wife so far :

April 27 - CIC received application for sponsorship.
May 31 - AOR
August 1 - OWP approved
August 4 - OWP recieved

I was reading the thread and found that estimated timeline for medical is around Sep end/Oct.
Any idea on the timeline for being approved as a sponsor ?

My understanding is they would first approve me as a sponsor and continue processing PR application for my wife?
Hence wanted to know ETA for sponsorship approval.

My timeline is as follows for sponsoring my wife (British):
April 18 - package received
May 17 - AOR

No further updates have been received since then. Do all applicants have to go through a medical?

It will usually be around 2.5 months from your AOR date. So most probably around mid of October you can expect your OWP update.
