I
All,

Just got an file status from IRCC thru "Access to Information Act". My AOR is April 11 and the last notes I see on the application is 05/16. The notes said the following
"MI3 NOTE: Review Required - Funds A11.2: Review Required R75: FSW Minimum Requirements - Appears Met R76: Selection Criteria - FSW Points - Appears Met FSW points total: 72 Ready to Finalize RPRF: Complete"

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Review Required
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed
CPC Ottawa

I requested this on 10/26 and the report was generated on 10/29 but emailed to me today (11/27 - after a month). However I did receive an update in CIC account on 11/08 that I need to submit more documents on proof of funds. It was shocking to see NO notes from 5/16 till 10/29. I did submit these files and they acknowledged receiving them on 11/26.

Is anyone in same boat? I am not sure what "Ready to Finalize RPRF: Complete" means. Also not sure why is it taking so long to start the security check.

Thank you.
I have the similar kind of situation that my available find show 19400 CAD but in my review required stated that proof of fund they have considered only my bank statement not my PF statement

may be they dont consider PF as liquid assets? I am not sure. You did not get an update from CIC yet? That should describe it better.

Received PPR today!

The email says that I have to send a prepaid expresspost envelope from Canada Post. They won't return the passport via any other courier. I'm worried about the Canada Post strike and I really need to become a pr asap. Does anyone know if I can send the documents with Fedex/DHL and still include the Canada Post expresspost for the return?

The quick guide to reading and understanding your GCMS notes. I am working on a more exhaustive post for this, which will take time. but for now, here you go.

1. Check they the GCMS notes are yours and for the application you wanted. The top application number should be your current application number.
2. At the bottom of the page in the footer, you will see a date. This is the date when the GCMS notes were generated, and reflect the status of your application on that date. This date is a few days or weeks after your request for GCMS was filed.
3. Under the application number you will see your primary and secondary office where your application is being processed.
4. On page 2, you will see the status of your application, against eligibility, criminality security. The security is retracted, so don't be concerned.
5. If you see s15 or 16 on any of the pages top right corner, no need to worry and read: https://www.getgcms.com/blog/s15-s16-top-right-gcms-denote/
6. Now go the last 3-5 pages. This is where the officer notes are. Read them in sequential order and you should be able to understand if there are any concerns. If you had a "review required" status, you will see the reason here in most cases.

For most applicants this would be sufficient, for others you may have to look into the activities and other CRS and MEC calculations usually in the middle of the GCMS notes.

Hope this helps!

If the documents are not clear or the analyst or assistant reviewing your GCMS notes is unable to make a determination, which could be because your bank balance could be in another currency than USD or CAD, or your PoF may be complicated, as in with gift deed etc. then the decision on that will be deferred to the officer. But, most cases will be cleared by the officer, as long as you you submitted the letter from the bank and it has everything asked for by the IRCC.

Hi @legalfalcon

My GCMS notes by case processing agent had my crs score reduced from 1017 to 992..... That wouldn't affect my eligibility since I'm still well above MEC for ITA draw of 456?

If you meet the MEC and the CRS cut-off, you are good.

Update from me....... called IRCC today and they said my application was approved they day I received the ghost update which was on 11//20/2018. So Montreal CIO has maintained their style ......... ghost update => immediate IP2 => PPR.

Regarding PPR email, the agent said they have sent me a physical PPR mail (not email) and that's why my additional document request status on my profile is: "We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details" .
when I asked why physical mail and not email, she put put me on hold and then said there is nothing they can do about it since the agent dealing with my case has chosen to communicate with me this way.
