I have already asked this question before in this forum.

Not to offend anyone

Need to know your opinion on the below:

Does the processing time differ for single applicants than those with the family in the same stream, FSW Outland, for example, (residing in the home country) having the same AOR, considering all other conditions like fees payment, ADR requests and travel history the same?
The application processing time is based on many factors. To list a few:

Number of people in the application.
The officer, program assistant, analyst and his efficiency working on the application.
The application itself, eg. travel history, work history, medical etc.
Also, the medicals are evaluated by different professionals, who make take more of less time based on their working structure.
Then its the security, which too is time consuming.

So if you factor in all the above, and hypothetically if all conditions are alike, then too an application filed on the same day and be processed on different timelines.

Only if everything is the same, i.e. the same officers, medical officers, and the same assistant and analyst get the files, then you can expect to have a very close time line.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply with the listing of so many factors!!

One speedy thing in all this, is the medical, which usually completes in 7 days from AOR.
The last line of having the same Visa officer, the probability of this, I do not know what it is.

I am a single applicant, I am concerned that whether being a single applicant is the reason for the time, it is taking to process my application.

Does Canada Day coming near has any positive effect on the speed of processing of PR applications?

Hi everyone,
I was posting about my sister's PR case earlier.
One thing she told me to mention here to inform everyone is,if anyone is going to cross Rainbow Bridge or Peace Bridge, reach there before 7:30 am because they pick the candidate in between 7:30 am- 8:15 am due to huge crowd for landing over there. She reached at 9:00 am on Tuesday but the officer refused to book her appointment and forced her to book appointment online with the nearer offices like one in Etobicoke.

Wish you all good luck :)

Neither you being a single applicant or the Canada approaching will have any effect. What matters is your LVO. It is the LVO which will issue you the PPR. some LVOs are very slow, such as NDVO, London, Paris and the throw in the priority of student visas from March - July and tourist visas in the summer.

RPRF and PR fee is mandatory that I know, but what I was highlighting that in every case you do not require the RCMP certificate tbh. So why pay $60 upfront...
Yes I agree with you that one would end up incurring extra time because of the ADR request... but generally you are doing anyways... take a look at our examples, we paid everything upfront and you went the extra mile to provide the RCMP certificate as well... you are in que so am I :D
Yes agree

IF this is true, and I would say that @KingKurly is the winner in true sense on this forum.
That's not true @legalfalcon sir. Well not in my context, it was xibalban (Bhanu) who met iamxty (Christy) and they got married and applied together. Anyway, wanted to ask you a question, my friend has just applied for his PR. His wife is a dependent and has 3 years bachelor's degree from recognized university. WES has certified it as 3 years diploma. So that gives her 8 points being 3 years program at university rite? I told him to choose that option. Thank you.
