Processing permanent residence application is of no priority to anyone except the applicants.

Some people think they are god’s gifts to mankind and the country should open up and spread wide eagle to welcome them in to her in a hurry.

Not.

Folks, keep your heads up and live your daily lives as normal.

I know that things that come too easy are not normally cherished. Let’s hope none of you are quitters and say Canada failed you after a few months of getting your PR.

Unfortunately, there are a lot more quitters out there than ones who hang in there.

Like someone in this thread said before, go take a look at the Ray of Hope threads, people, and you may just start to realize how restless people are in this AOR thread.

Honestly, what is the use of getting to know the VO or ordering notes? How does it affect the progress of one’s application by getting the notes and seeing / reading the notes?

My bets is zero effects. Except to occupy the applicant’s time and maybe make himself/herself feel slightly better.

I think everyone who's waiting would be going thru the same thing... i got my RPRF request on 10th May or something... Uploaded the receipt the very next day...but still no update... Even the background check status is the same - application is being processed and we will inform you once we start the background check..

My agency told me not to call them... Said if they repeatedly call then sometimes the case officer may get upset and reject your file... Not sure if that's true... But not taking a chance none the less...

So there's no choice but to wait... Like someone said in the thread... Most probably April AOR will start seeing more movement in July/August... Hoping for that...
Yes ... according to my judgement it will start in July to august with full pressure...
So stay calm n hope for the best !!

Think what I do most on this forum and others like the Telegram group run by @legalfalcon is quietly read posts. Once you've read enough of these posts, you realise a few things such as call center agents are bleh, they aren't the best source of information. GCMS notes is the holy grail and you can't go wrong with getgcms.com or gcmsbuddy.com*

*This post ain't sponsored :D just takes out all the guess work. In my case, I could specifically see the application gathering dust after all the initial action. Will apply for a new set of notes (maybe) a month from now. It's just CAD10/INR500, so...
Does the processing time differ for single applicants than those with the family in the same stream, FSW Outland, for example, (residing in the home country) having the same AOR, considering all other conditions like fees payment, ADR requests and travel history the same?

I have already asked this question before in this forum.

Not to offend anyone

Need to know your opinion on the below:

Does the processing time differ for single applicants than those with the family in the same stream, FSW Outland, for example, (residing in the home country) having the same AOR, considering all other conditions like fees payment, ADR requests and travel history the same?

maybe @legalfalcon will be able to answer this better, but I have no idea if this is true. Some of these things sound like they are based on stats, but I am guessing they are not and are pure speculation.

How? I waited over 6 months for the OINP to open before I got my additional 600pts.

That’s why I said kids in here have zero patience and no clue how lucky they are.
I disagree with you.
It wasn’t smooth sailing for me either. I was in the pool stuck at 300 something crs for over an year. I had to keep giving numerous Ielts attempts to get my points up to 450 something and that’s how I earned an ITA after waiting for a year and half. :)
I agree with ‘being lucky’ part.
However I’ve experienced a fair share of turbulence too.

Permanent residence application fee :$550
RPRF fee:$490

I have paid RPRF upfront thts why
I said you would know because you have wide knowledge about this process so i just guess you would know
RPRF and PR fee is mandatory that I know, but what I was highlighting that in every case you do not require the RCMP certificate tbh. So why pay $60 upfront...
Yes I agree with you that one would end up incurring extra time because of the ADR request... but generally you are doing anyways... take a look at our examples, we paid everything upfront and you went the extra mile to provide the RCMP certificate as well... you are in que so am I :D

Every Monday starts with so much of anticipation but by Friday I start getting restless.
I hate to sound negative but I don't think there'll be much movement today. Another week has gone by.
Waiting is the only name of the game! How are you guys coping with the nerves?
For now I'm going to sip some green tea and meditate.
and for me this is a stress buster...
