Hi All,
So finally, today, our ECAS for PA changed to "In Process" . Can someone please help update the sheet, I tried, but could not.
Also, we have not gotten any medical request, but following the advise from this forum, we did re-send the sched A again earlier this month and received an email to confirm it's receipt. Hoping that things move a bit faster now for us too! Thank you for your advise, suggestions and recommendations and please keep them coming.

Congratulations. Emails are usually sent within 2 weeks, but sometimes can take up to a month.

Congratulations! GCKey can take sometime to get updates, ECAS is supposedly updated daily. Hopefully COPR will arrive soon.

Hi all, PA has decision made in ecas today, but nothing on gckey. Should gckey update soon and should we expect to receive an email shortly? Thanks in advance

Congratulations!!! You should be receiving an email within a week. As for the GCKey don't worry about it changing. It could still be as is after you receive the passport back. They are slow.

How did you get them to send you a medical request when you called ?

I happened to call, trying to get an update and since there was a technical issue with my online account, (after 2 technical requests, wasn't any change) I wanted an update. They told me they had sent a medical request to my e-mail, I checked everywhere, and it wasn't there, so they said ok, we will request they re-send it, I had it by the end of that day, called the next morning for my appointment and then, like 3 days later I was in the doctors office, with my form, and my doctor sent it to them via e-medical. I think in all it was maybe 4/5 days from the request that my results were sent. Mind you, this was the second time I sent one in, as by the time they got to everything the first one had expired....:/ Good Luck!

Still no PPR e-mail for me from the Mississauga VO. We have been waiting about 2.5 weeks now. Seems like they might be slower in sending it out or doing some type of different process.

Hopefully they've started processing the DMs in batches and you'll see something in the coming days.

- Security - not started
- Recommend interview waiver
- Verification - cancelled (not sure what it is)
- Genuine relationship
- Social assistance check done (not sure again what it s for)
- File is being held for back office (what's back office?) @pnaran14 do u have such thing? Or any other applicant?

Hi guys

We had a few updates this last week, I was requested to send (and sent) my Schedule A. We also had police checks requested, which I'm waiting for and should hopefully submit later this week. We also had an email on Friday that our file has been moved to the Vienna office (we applied from Prague).

Does anyone know if this is a normal timeline, to be transferred to Vienna so late on in the process?

Also, does anyone have any insight how long it will take my background check to start once police checks are submitted? The spreadsheet shows a pleasingly quick turn around from background check started to DM, but wondering how long it can take to get it started.
