So my gcms notes says:

- Eligibility - review/passed
- Criminality - passed
- Medical - passed
- Security - not started
- Recommend interview waiver
- Verification - cancelled (not sure what it is)
- Genuine relationship
- Social assistance check done (not sure again what it s for)
- File is being held for back office (what's back office?) @pnaran14 do u have such thing? Or any other applicant?

(April 18 applicant)
I got my notes recently. I have the same line about Back Office. Though I am not sure what does this mean.

I take it back. I rechecked my notes. Yes, I have the line too but since it was entered during its time in CPC Mississauga, we should not be worried. Our files are in NDVO and the action will be taken there. Looking at your statuses, you should be in line next to get DM :)

@demdb11 , Do you know how they decide that your VO will be Mississauga? Is there any particular reason?
I honestly have no idea. We never received a request for schedule A or PCC and after sending them we had received no communication for over 3 months until receiving a letter stating we were being processed in Mississauga. Once we received that letter, the request for medical came and things have moved quickly in the last four weeks. Sorry I can't be more helpful, this is my first experience with anything immigration related.

Hi everyone,

I had to submit a scan of the PA's passport as they had her birth date wrong. I submitted via webform and I got an email with the below back - but I can't figure out what it wants me to do. It seems to tell me to repeat what I did in the first place. Anyone gone through this?

Case Status

If your enquiry is regarding a case status which has not yet been answered via other channels, please write back to us using the IRCC Web form and choose one of the following options:

· Temporary Residence (applied online) or Temporary Residence (applied by Mail) located in the drop down menu under the heading Enquiry for any temporary residence application (i.e.: Visitor Record, Study Permit, Work Permit, and/or Temporary Resident Permit).

· Permanent residence (applied by mail) or Permanent residence (applied online) located in the drop down menu under the heading Enquiry for a permanent residence application under an economic stream (i.e.: Provincial Nominee, Skilled Worker, Caregiver, etc.).

We thank you for your understanding and patience as we seek to provide existing and future Canadians with the best client service.

When submitting through webform, did you choose the proper option (permanent residence)? Also is your application at Mississauga or an outland VO?

It is highly recommended that you send a physical copy of requested docs via mail to CIC if the upload option is not turned in your CIC Account. You can send the docs via web form too but at times it takes forever to process the docs when uploaded via web form.

It is very hard for sure, I feel you. The closer you get the harder it becomes, but stay strong my friend.

I hear you. I submitted the consent form again on Friday. Hopefully get my notes in a day or two and see some movement on our file as well. We had decided that for sure by Dec he will have his PR and will be in Canada by mid Dec, but now its almost Oct and nothing has been done on our file since it got to the VO, at least as of Sep 14 nothing. So definitely getting anxious. it'll be a total of 6 months in a weeks time. It's so hard sometimes staying positive. Two Pakistani applicants from 2016 have received rejections in the last month. and not a single approval in Sep. :(
