Med Exam requested: June 5. Done June 26 and sent June 28. (pending)
Schedule A Requested: June 13. Sent June 17 and received. (pending)

I've still not heard about the med exam or schedule A results, also VO Ottawa sent our file back to Mississauga to handle because I guess they're over booked. However on Sept 13 they FINALLY requested the FBI report for hubby and his military records. Hopefully not too much longer now. They apologized and had told me over the phone they've been very backlogged but everything should be better here on out. Anybody else with success?

Hi guys,

I got my GCMS notes. We got recommended pass and some recommended waiver for eligibility. Also, security is yet to begin. Criminality and Medicals passed. I have not had a chance to look at the notes completely. I will do that soon. File is in fcu-dis room. This is all I gathered. Keep you guys posted. It is not easy to redact stuff as the PDF is not editable. But will do soon and hope it is helpful for others.

Thanks!

My guess is based on my husbands notes that security is done before file is sent off to VO. So I'm guessing a DM for you any day now! Congrats!

Does anyone in this group know that if VO doesn't ask for additional documents to support relationship, one cannot be asked to go for an interview?

Wish you be with your husband before that :) Thanks for your wishes!! I will pass it along.

Aww happy Birthday to them! All the best. My husband's birthday next month! Hoping we hear good news around the same time as that :)

My med results took about 10 days to show passed. They were sent electronically from the doc's office. I don't think you will not be required to send PCCs, I don't think this is ever the case. While I was never asked PCCs by communication from IRCC, I do know that they were supposed to ask for them via letter as my notes revealed it. So, I would gather all your PCCs (if multiple) quickly and send them over the web form. I was also never asked for my Schedule A, they only told my spouse they would request it from me and never did.

I'm also planning on calling once I get and upload my second PCC. I wonder how long to wait before calling to see if it's been attached to my file for sure..

I dont know if there is any legal obligation to it. But the application depends on the following:

1. Sponsor Eligibility
2. Applicant's medicals
3. Applicant's Criminality Check
4. Applicant's Security Check
5. Relationship Genuinity

If they find anything that needs to be clarified, they can do it by asking for docs or asking people to come in for interview.

Additional docs are GENERALLY for the first 4 items in the above list. If they are asking for item 5, it is generally updated chat history, photos, proof of relationship letters from friends/relatives.

But if there is something that needs to be clarified by direct meeting, then the interview will be called for. Again, this inference is based on what I have seen so far in the forum for the past 8 months.

Mari, these are only my observations and I hope it clarifies your question.

Hi Everyone,

I have a quick question were do my Spouse application will be going and which Visa office the file will be processed.

Currently, My spouse is in Taiwan on a Worker/ Resident Visa. I am applying for her PR under Family class sponsorship. She is a citizen of India and fairly recently moved to Taiwan – less than 6 months. So now, I am confused if her PR sponsorship file will be processed in Taiwan or New Delhi.

Any help or insight on this one will be really helpful.

Thanks,
