CIC was/is having issues with their request system, so many people did not get requests/could not provide the documents through the webform even when they did get requests. Your best bet would be to give them a call and ask if they need anything from you. Also may be worth checking your GCKey to see if it says that documents are required, although GCKey is by no means 100% accurate.
our GCKey wants more docs since Aug 09 but we havent gotten an email as to what these docs are. So yea GCKey by no means is 100% accurate.

Oh wow! Ok! That definitely doesn't sound good at all. Will be giving them a call asap. My GC key account doesn't say that they need any further documents.
Thanks!

Don't worry or panic. Be proactive. Lots of members have sent their docs voluntarily because a lot, and I mean A LOT of them were sent correspondence which they never received (Yea CIC needs to fix this BS big time). So here is my suggestion. Fill out your Schedule A. Get help if you get stuck, and send Schedule A and PCC using the webform and via mail to CPC Mississauga (make sure to include Application (file) # and the PA's UCI #.

Check out my timeline for reference. It shouldn't take this long to get a request for your Schedule A and PCC. Does your MyCIC mention that meds were passed?

Yes it does say that I passed my medical test. I feel my best bet would be to first call CIC and then voluntarily send my documents to Mississauga.

My GCKey said I passed my medical before I even sent it in... Definitely give them a call haha. While the application is still in Mississauga, they're usually half-decent at giving you an idea of what's going on with it.

LOL so true!

I have 4 set of questions to the forum members!

1. When the background process turns into "In Progress", what are the changes in the following?
  • GC Key My CIC Account: Background Check - In Progress
  • ECAS: Any new sentence added??
  • Will the Principal Applicant get an email?
2. When the decision is "Made", what are the changes in the following?
  • GC Key My CIC Account: Final Decision - Your application is in progress.
  • ECAS: Decision Made
  • Will the Principal Applicant get an email?
3. When the ppr is sent, what are the changes in the following?

  • GC Key My CIC Account: Final Decision - Your application is in progress.
  • ECAS: Decision Made
  • The Principal Applicant gets an email requesting his/her passport.
4. When the passport is returned with stamping, what are the changes in the following?
  • GC Key My CIC Account: Final Decision - Approved
  • ECAS: Decision Made
  • The Principal Applicant gets his/her passport stamped with Permanent Resident Visa.

Please correct and reply for the above steps.

Thanks!

1. When the background process turns into "In Progress", what are the changes in the following?
  • GC Key My CIC Account: Background Check - In Progress
  • ECAS: Any new sentence added?? No, as per my knowledge none.
  • Will the Principal Applicant get an email? As per GCKey message you should, some do some don't.
2. When the decision is "Made", what are the changes in the following?
  • GC Key My CIC Account: Final Decision - Your application is in progress. This should change to, in theory, Decision made. However it may change only once after COPR is received.
  • ECAS: Decision Made - Yes should say Decision Made under PR Application
  • Will the Principal Applicant get an email? Once again I think depends largely on the VO. I have read some people got it, some didn't.
3. When the ppr is sent, what are the changes in the following?

  • GC Key My CIC Account: Final Decision - Your application is in progress.
  • ECAS: Decision Made
  • The Principal Applicant gets an email requesting his/her passport. Yes it will include a sort of a form I believe that needs to be uploaded or something again depends on many factors. If the PA is from a visa exempt country like the US for instance then no PPR request is made, COPR is sent. Again as per my knowledge from this forum.
4. When the passport is returned with stamping, what are the changes in the following? At this point some people have seen a conclusion to BGC and Final decision etc, some claim they didn't see it. But who really cares at this point right? You have what you needed :)

  • ECAS: Decision Made

Answered in the quote in bold. Just want to point out that these answers are as per my limited knowledge and understanding. I made a joke about the # of questions but you edited your post :(

The thing is almost all the new applicants in 2017 have had Meds done before their file was transferred to their VO. You should look into the medical request because if you aren't at your VO yet then they are for sure waiting on a medical examination from you. I would say get your MP involved, launch a case specific inquiry and call CIC like right now.

Thanks :)
We called CIC and all they told us was that they have everything, reconfirmed that Schedule A and Police Check are attached, app is still in Mississauga, medical request has not been sent yet, and there is nothing to do but wait

It's also good that you've submitted a report on that issue. They usually take a while before they respond and/or fix the issue.

As for the Schedule A and PCC it great that you've sent them through webform. A lot of people have had and had the same problem. Since CIC was having(and still is) a lot of us also mailed in those two pieces of document to the CPC Mississauga office. It's totally up to you.

Thanks so much. After over hundreds tries, we finally linked my application online through the last format.

We are calling CIC about the status now because we submitted schedule A and police clearance last week.

What you suggest after we linked the application?

Thanks again.

Hi guys,
Our application status on GCKey says "We are processing your application. We will send you an update when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

However on ECAS the status says "Application Received", and we only got two following lines in the details:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 26, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence on May 27, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Does it mean our app is being processed or not? We haven't gotten AOR2 or request for medicals yet.

You are stuck exactly where i am at the moment. with one added line.

Status: Application Received

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 25, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence on May 26, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
3. Medical results have been received.

I have voluntarily submitted Sch A & PCC theough webform which they sent me an email to receiving and thats it... i havent been transferred to VO yet.
