Exactly one month.

Thank you. I'm still wondering if I should order them. The wait time on those might be even more stressful.

Gud morning all!
I'm getting little stressed out here. Applicants from March n April getting DM and PPr now. And I'm April 18 applicant (AOR2 June 19), background check haven't even started. BGC still saying 'not applicable'

Don't worry it will still take some time... my cousin applied on March 07 file transfer to NDVO May 05 and his background check hasn't started yet...

I applied mine on April 05 file transfer to NDVO May 16, started processing May 20 AOR June 01.... background check hasn't started....
Looking at the trend , NDVO should finalize April files around Sept 10- 15...
they are still doing Jan , Feb and a few from March...

Thanks. Do you know if your file has undergone initial review? Its something everyone keeps mentioning lol. Wonder if its stated in the notes.
Yes. It has initial review. Its like a summarize of our relationship and some personal infos of sponsor and PA.

Im April 3rd applicant. It has 49 pages
what was the bottom line was it really helpful did it give you any idea or clues where file is or where its stuck if at all and did it change or speed up your application at all ?

It takes only a month to receive the notes, and its good because you would know whats going on with your application

That's so true. Can the sponsor order it or it has to be the PA?

Hi everyone,

When requesting for the notes, they request attachments. Do we need to provide anything, and if so what documents do we attach? Does the sponsor need to be the representative of the applicant?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hey,
You need the PA to sign a consent form. Its IMM5744E and below is the link to it.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/form-imm5744.asp

Section A - Principal Applicant details
Section B - Sponsor's details
Section C - Sponsor's details

Hope this helps. Good luck.
