Does anybody knows how long it takes for CIC to change status in your account about receiving documents if you mail them the hard copy and they've received it already (because the delivery company says they delivered)?

thank you) I am waiting from July 28th but it's my 3rd attempt so I am worried .... They have so many problems with their site, I am trying to send them requested documents for almost 2 months
Sorry to hear that, i know its really frustrating.
Some call center agents may give you wrong information without doing proper research on their part when you enquire to them!
Call again and calmly explain your situation to try to get the exact status of your application. If you think he/she is not co-operating, drop the line and try to get hold of another agent.
Hope your issues gets resolved quickly.

Before this email, we already received a pdf document that said something like... "this is to confirm that your application has been forwarded to the visa office..." So I just figured that this email was the AOR2...
Is the AOR2 also a pdf document???
Any BC in progress or DM for April 2017 applicants? I see two March applicants got DMs. But as usual they have not updated the statuses
Well for us, we sent the pcc upfront with our application and when our MP called to check in, we were told that "criminality has passed" ... So i'm not sure if that's the same as background check and security...
I notice people on this forum use different terms and I'm not sure if it all refers to the same thing or not...lol

I think (just my understanding based on my case, not sure if applicable to all though)
If it's not signed with VO, That's coming from centralized case processing office.
If it's coming from your respective VO it would be signed like this:
