That's a good question because I noticed that the VO received the file on the 14th but on ECAS it said that they started reviewing the application on the 30th. 'In process' was shown since the 12th even. It's confusing.

Yeah confusing! But at least it is moving...
Maybe @nursegabo is right, it really depends on the visa office.
I guess all of us are on the waiting game now. Hope apps move faster this time.

So if i may ask, how long did i take for your app to have the line: "we started processing..." from the time your eCAS changed to "in process"?
My eCAS says "in process" on june 29 but until now it only says up to: "we received your medical results" nothing else.

June 15- in process
June 19- we started processing xxx
Do you have the line 2 in your ecas?

My spouse finally received the AOR2 on Friday and the applicant ECS status has been updated as well. One more milestone reached.

So if no aor2 yet but eCAS says in process, does it mean the file was just transferred but not opened yet at your VO?

When you access your ecas and click on PA side you will see the no 2. Line that says " we started processing xxx" it means that the file has been transfered in Manila. Did you received an email for the file transfer? Does your ecas already says in process?

So I (PA) logged in my to eCAS. Then my name is on the left and "in process" on the right. And then I clicked the "in process" and then it say only 3 things:
1. We received your app on....
2. We sent you a correspondence...
3. Medical results have been received.
That's all po.
Yes, my eCAS says "in process" for me the PA on june 29.
And no, I didn't get any email regarding file transfer.
My husband called cic on june 30, then an agent told him that our app was forwarded to manila visa office and that we should do our follow ups to that office. He also gave us the contact information of MVO.

Yeah nursegabo is right. As soon as your file is transferred, the PA's ECAS status changes to 'In-Process'. It's not until they actually opened your application package that the AOR2 is sent out (for the VOs that do) and the 3rd line - "We started processing your application on Month XX, 2017" is added to the ECAS PA's section. And as long as it's moving forward we can't really complain.

Hey Guys,

I was away from Forum for couple weeks, how's the AOR2 process going? How long is it taking to receive? We mailed our SA, PCC on June 8th, still haven't heard about our file being transferred to VO. Are we way beyond the normal timeline or this is normal? Just worried and missing my husband. Want him to be here soon
