My spouse finally received the AOR2 on Friday and the applicant ECAS status has been updated as well. One more milestone reached.

Do you think the moment you received aor2 thats the time they start processing your app at your respective visa office?
So if no aor2 yet but eCAS says in process, does it mean the file was just transferred but not opened yet at your VO?

That's a good question because I noticed that the VO received the file on the 14th but on ECAS it said that they started reviewing the application on the 30th. 'In process' was shown since the 12th even. It's confusing.

It depends. In Manila they dont send Aor2s. They opened your application once you see the 'We started processing xxxxxx' on your ecas.

Really? I didn't know that as im anticipating an email from manila vo. Hahaha! Thanks for sharing this info.
So if i may ask, how long did i take for your app to have the line: "we started processing..." from the time your eCAS changed to "in process"?
My eCAS says "in process" on june 29 but until now it only says up to: "we received your medical results" nothing else.
