just received a second email from CIC

the first was addressed to my wife who is the PA and the second one I just got now is more of what I was expecting the AOR to look like:

stil having problems linking the online app tho ....but I am able to check via ECAS and happy to see they started processing 04/27/2017

the processing is of the Sponsorship application (SA), not the PA application

I noticed on a different thread that you also have dependent children, though some are not accompanying. I'm unsure if the non-accompanying throws off the number even though they would be named in the IMM0008 form.

The number should be 1 (sponsor) + 1 (spouse PA) + number of PA's dependents. Hope this helps

yea me neither

tried all combos but nothing has worked yet...so i called CIC call center and they suggested to submit tech support issue since the agent on the phone verified all the information I was entering was correct

try rescanning at a slightly lower quality (150 dpi).

We just linked ours and used a family name and application number option.

However, ensure that you include yourself in the number of applicants, so if you have no dependents, number of applications Would be two

I did same and hit space bar before birth city name, unfortunately, didn't work. Called CIC and lady said may be technical issue and Now I'm wondering what to do

Did you hit a space bar and THEN typed your birth city name? Or just did nothing besides hitting space bar once in that box?

Remember not to put any passport information as well.
