I think it's mainly good as an alternative to mailing with signature required.
It doesn't really mean anything more that it has been received, but I was interested to see how long the packages were in the mailroom before being opened.
More of a fun experiment for me, but I would definitely recommend for anyone sending their package in without signature required on delivery.

A bit of good news; there are a few people whose packages were received on 3/27 and 3/28 are just now getting AOR. I'm hoping that means those of us whose packages arrived 4/3 and 4/4 will start to see AOR the first few days of next week.

We are a tiny bit concerned about our app being returned because my wife included only her 2015 Notice of Assessment as she hadn't filed her 2016 taxes yet.
After we saw this was happening to some people (not all) she called CIC and they said some officers are returning apps because of that and some aren't.
Which seems ridiculous to me since A) taxes aren't even due yet and it takes a week or 2 to get your NoA after you've filed, and B) I would think something basic like that would be done the same by all the officers...

Anyway, we're just hoping we get someone who doesn't consider that a reason to return our app and in the meantime she has filed her taxes so we are prepared either way.

Good luck to us all on a speedy process! I included my 2015 NOA as i Dont receive the 2016 NOA BEFORE i mailed my application. I hope they will not return our application beacuse of that.

Hello there! Idid the same thing. I i

Im the sponsor and i used H&R block here who do the assesstment of my tax. I ask them after I recieved my income tax return to print me out a copy of my NOA 2016 so I could able to attached on my application so they did. If anyone have already filed their tax they can open their CRA account after 10days filed you can print it out already for copy... if ever you have no way to get any copy you can always used your most recent NOA which is considerable or make a explanation letter note why u did not submitted your NOA 2016... but no worries i think yours is fine ;D

Was wondering if its okay if I sent my latest NOA Year 2015.

Hello everyone!
Id like to ask what did you do for the supporting documents e.i. 20 photos. Does it matter if you did them on bond paper?
Thank you

So it's the sponsor's name at the back, not the PA's name?

The applicant full name and date of birth and description of photos

I hope there will be no issue if I did mine on bond paper. And the description at the bottom of each phot. I copy-paste each photo on bond paper, so basically there are 2 photos on each paper. And put my name and my husband's name at the top with our date of birth.

I think you may be confused. I believe the applicants full name and date of birth needs to be listed on the back of the "official" headshots you submit (the small photos). This information does not need to be listed on the back of your 20 "relationship proof" photos, as far as I know.

Hi :)

PA's name and DOB, along with the description need to be written on the back of each photograph to support the relationship.

Yung sa photos (2x) taken from a studio need to have your name, DOB, name of the studio and their address

Thanks :)
