Hi....I am hoping this will give you some reassurance. I previously sent my application in March to the same address you listed, and unfortunately it was returned. At this time it was signed for upon delivery. On April 4, I resent my package with Canada post including tracking and signature upon arrival, and like you I have yet to receive any confirmation of delivery or signature. I called Canada post and they told me to call back Tuesday. I included the texting barcode in my package, and I received a text message on the night of April 5...I think we may have the same timeline so I'm thinking your package probably arrived the same time as mine and there was just a problem with Canada Post. Hoping for the best here :)

Thank you .. this does make me feel better. I am hoping that it as you said ... Canada Post .. just doesn't have its act together. In that it was delivered but just not scanned because of the signature requirement. I just wish there was a way of knowing that the CASE PROCESSING CENTER got my package.

I should have read this forum in more detail before I mailed my application and signed up for the bar code thing.

I guess I have to play the waiting game ... from the looks of it April 4/5 will be late April, early May before I will know they got my package.

Thanks

Hey there, I submitted my application the Friday past and it arrived at CPC-M on Monday past and I just received a text an hour ago saying they have recieved it and will notify me upon processing. Is it normal for me to receive the text so soon? Surely that's a good sign, and what should I expect next?

I just received a text as well..
Mailed it 5pm April 10
Delivered 10am April 11
Text confirmation 11pm April 11

Yes similar time to when I received my text from IRCC mine came through at 10.11pm, does that mean they are in the mailroom late at night? Or would it have just taken some time from the moment they scanned the barcode to the time we received the message

I sent mine as well to the PO Box address requiring signature....thankfully it was delivered without any issue and someone signed

Is it best to send it without requiring a signature for receipt confirmation? Thanks!

When I sent mine by courier to CPC-M with Purolator I selected not to require a signature for delivery as I wasn't sure at the time if that was possible. But a signature was given for the package anyway. So you can yes.

Ive been following this thread for a while since got married in 2014.. Finally submitted my application today...

I am a little worried ... I sent my application in early April 2017 ... I got married April 2015. Do you think the long delay in my case 2 years ... is going to be an issue, or at least a point that I will have to clear up later.

Have you been living together with your spouse or have you been in two different countries this whole time?

Two different countries .. I have NOT seen her since I came back to Canada after our wedding. I plan on going to get her when her paperwork comes through hopefully late year, early next year.
