Hi i need some help. Are the proof of relationships really need tobe printed in photopaper. Bcoz im planning to do it in microsoft word so i can tupe the descriptions and details. Hope you guys can help me. Im really stressed on how to start. Thanks

We did it in Word as well, 2 photos per page and descriptions/details right under each photo, but printed on regular printer paper (and in colour), same as everything else. We got AOR and SA and never got the app package back nor had them requested later on. Still waiting of course, so anything is possible.

Hello guys
I got email from from my VO few minutes ago.
This email told me that I need to submit this: Your Certified Criminal Record Check (RCMP clearance)
Is there anyone got this kind of mail from VO? How can I do that?
Please share your opinion and experiences.
Thank you and hope everyone get PR asap!

whats your vo?
how many years have you lived in canada?

you need to apply to the RCMP - you can google search them easily enough. there are also plenty of posts if you search the forum on the procedure to get an RCMP check. Not many people have experience with it as most people aren't required to provide one.

no news at my end;/

April App here still no ppr

It took only three days for our passports to be couriered to Moscow, and returned with our visa's. We are amazed at this turn in our lives.

It is Manila VO and I've lived canada from feb 2013 to feb 2014 and then I came to canada in this july(I applied family sponsorship in apr 2016).
What about accredited companies? Is that better than local police office?

Hi Proksd!

My partner, who is the PA, got the same request for the RCMP check (Mexico VO).

Some say that the agencies are offering a faster service, but my partner went to the local police and got his certificate in the mail in about 3 business days.
The local police was charging a bit cheaper for the same services.

If you are currently in Canada, I would suggest to compare prices between the local police and the agencies.

Wow, Thanks for your advice!
I think I will go to local police office tomorrow.
Is any local police office fine for that?

Check CIC website to know the actual police office they recommended for Mexican's, because each country case is different
Best of luck

I think so, just make sure they do the whole process electronically for fast processing. Ask to the officer before proceeding.
