no only registered me. the sponsor side is done and we got the SA so no real reason to register the sponsor also. Just got to get through the PA side now so just registered me.

Hopefully the eligibility thing goes quick and then its just the background check. my medical is already registered as passed.

The application to become a sponsor cannot be linked anyways.

I am the sponsor and I live in Canada. My spouse lives outside. When I called cic call center the recording implied that it is only for inland applications and Outland have to use the web service. I only get auto replies from the web never an actual answer. Yet when I checked a few other Outland threads it looked to me like people were still getting through to a live person. I am confused as I have called in the past but this is a new recording.

613.944.4000

call this number. then it will transfer you to the cic number after you press a few buttons. its a good way to bypass the system.

once the application is forwarded to a visa office; i dont think CIC call centre can do much to help.

Linked my wife's application to my CIC account. It says Medicals passed, Eligibility "Review in progress". Rest "Not started".

My GCMS notes should be coming in 10 days. Hope there is more in that.

How did you do this? O:
Where do you link applications? On the ECAS, or..?? I'd damn well like to know if I passed medicals x_x.
Going to order GCMS too, once I figure out how..

This my CIC account is new.

Create your account here
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp

Try as much as 5 times in one day to link the application using different combinations of details about the application. Put as little information as possible.

Are you trying new combinations every time? At some point you must hit the right spot and finally be able to link it.

got PR Card in mail today :)

done!

thanks everybody good luck and
happy ending! hope for everyone :)

Hello everyone,

A quick question here..so after AOR, SA and both sides on ECAS are in process next will be DM first then PPR? or the other way around?

Thank you guys, missing this thread. :P

Ugh, trying to link the two accounts is a pain in the butt. I try to give them as little info as possible, but they want a whole buttload of information. I'm not even sure if my place of birth is registered by the island in my passport, or by the town on the island which I informed them of in my application... Plus, that island has a letter which is not found in the English alphabet... and really, did they type in all my passport information? Typing so much information is just bound to go wrong. I contacted them now, as they said you should if it didn't work out, so I'll probably hear from them in 3 months. Bleurgh.

While trying to link the application, try to choose, UCI and application number. Here I think you can omit the birthplace.

Application number, is that the IME number? Thanks for the advice!
