Good to know someone who's going to be processed at HKVO at the same time!

Re form 5669, I read that on the Hong Kong timeline. You should also subscribe to that thread if you haven't already done so, as that's HKVO specific. Everyone there agree it's a super strange request (as that's not what the form asks) but that's what HKVO asks for and we can only comply! There was someone who never receive that request but only to find out it's necessary in the GMCS notes 3 months later, hence, a 3 month delay!

I read the general spreadsheet that not ALL applicants get additional document requests though or not all people enter the details, I don't know.

The further tests requested was by the panel physicians, not CIC-M.
Thanks wyho for sharing and I definitely will try to keep up with the Hongkong timeline thread as well. Are we able to order GMCS notes now?

Good morning ;D (9:05am Mississauga time)

We need to move on, with hope and moderate amount of emotions - Worst is over for me (waiting for AOR1) . AS received on May 19. Today, eCAS PR Application status side changed to "IN PROCESS". Inside, it says,

1. We received XXXX XXX's application for permanent residence on April 8, 2016.
2. We started processing XXXX XXX's application on May 23, 2016.

The SPONSOR side has no change in/out since

1. We received your application to sponsor XXX XXX on April 8, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 30, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on April 29, 2016.

I already submitted medical info and Police certificate with the application but not yet seen - nothing done on the application yet.

My main issue, AS email says my Application is sent to CPO-Mississauga, instead of Vienna or Ottawa (she lived in Germany for the past 10 years as PR), I am expecting AS letter in the mail to compare with the e-mail, if not received by tomorrow evening, then I will request for GCMS Notes.

I am curious why you would want your gcms notes? Going to Ottawa is a good sign and your application is at least moving along.

Congrats! But where is my SA? I am five days earlier than yours..sign

i got a response from my case specific inquiry i put in regarding if my application has been received or not. all they said was "yes we received it and we will process it based on the time it was received"

So does that mean they have to follow the certain time line for processing each application?! cic seems very inconsistent to me

yes, applications are batched by date. whether that's by week or day, i am not sure. applications are processed by batch i believe.

I know the wait can be very frustrating. I myself got it at 53 days. (SA letter was even later, received later at 75 days!).

Hang in there, and hope for the best. :)

did you call before you got the letter to ask for your SA or did you just find out when you got it in the mail?

I suggest go for an MP enquiry.
call center agents are useless

Just had a phone call with CIC, below is my timeline:

App Rcv'd: Apr 4th
ECAS in process: Apr 27

Until now there is no SA mail. I called them on May 12 and the agent was good enough to send a message to the officer regarding my case. I waited like two weeks and called them again 5 minutes ago and the lady told me I could not call them every week. I should wait for 3 months and if the officer did not respond to the message, call back again. I asked if our case is undergoing background check or something like that but she could not conclude.

However, I got some useful information from her. Although we're applying outside Canada while my wife is in Canada, they will decide the visa office based on where we throw out the application, not the country of origin. Therefore, our case should be processed by CPC-O.

I got the exact same time line as you. Still no SA yet. Looks like CIC-M is working slow or maybe the officer who has the file went on long vacation..lol

I called. Many times, you'll get agents that are not willing to open your file on their computer for whatever reason. Don't waste time, say thank you, and dial again.
