If I will have to then I will, I still just hope that process will go quick so I will be able to land before Feb, wishful thinking lol.

Where are you planning to move?:)
Just noticed your youtube channel, will subscribe:D I see you have a cat, we do too, worried how we will take her with us!

Thanks. We will go to Toronto where I'm from. My friends and family are there so it's the best choice for us. I think you'll get it before Feb if you don't have a complicated application, maybe even if you do.

Hey Freeze. did you get an email saying something along the lines of "we have received your application and began processing it on xxth april"

if you did, then that is crazy quick! they received it on the 25th right? according to the spreadhseet. which means 3 days for AOR. Are you sure thats right?

COngrats if it is but wow.

Congrats to all of those who got their AOR!

Yaay, just got AOR too yesterday! (Just found out).

What happens next now?

next you wait for your SA. After that they will transfer the file.

I have a question about this new option when checking the processing time. I chose "sponsoring a family member", "spouse living outside of Canada"and the I can pick the country. But which one? The one the main applicant lives (Me, in Germany) or the one the sponsor lives in (him, Canada)? Any ideas?

you'll only know which one to pick once they transfer the file. they'll tell you when you get SA.

Just wanted to say that it's so nice to see so many people recieving AOR! Makes me very excited for it to be my turn lol! Congratulations everyone!

Also cool that they are trying to show timelines by country, but they are obviously not accurate. Germany says 13 months, but looking through spreadsheets, it's definitely off.

Hi,
my common Law partner - the sponsor -got the email with
his UCI number and Application Number!
:)

What does it mean:
is he approved to be a sponsor and they will send the paper now to the right office?

Will everything go over his UCI number and Application number or will I get one email to as an applicant???

So he has to log in and we can check our status!
what will we see for changes?

thanks!
Will they right emails when they need documents or anything or do I have to log in in his account with his UCI number?

thanks!
Emma ;) :D :)

he isnt approved as sponsor yet. this email just acknowledges the applications. SA comes next.

when hes approved they will send the application to the applicants vo and then the applicant will be assigned a uci.

they will email when they need any extra documents.

log into the sponsors account with his numbes and the applicants with the applicants id.

We'll be bringing our dog, importing animals to Canada should be easy, I'm just concerned about the flight.

Congrats to everyone who got AOR. I hope we all get a speedy SA.

I am worried about flight too that I will pay loads and people will be telling me off for taking her on board with me lol but I read horrible stories about pets in same place as luggage so would rather have her on board with us , our cat will be 17 by then and have health issues of senior cat, so long on plane plus time here and there makes me worried plus she's on special diet and I can't take pet food with me which means I would have to run and try get some adap after landing without knowing where or car lol! Stressful

Hi, may I ask if me, as the sponsor, need to fill up the additional family information (IMM5406) as well? or just my spouse (principal applicant) thanks

I'm taking my cat with me in cabin with some dry food in my purse. Cats tend to be really quiet in the planes and at the airport with all the strangers around. My cat is a talker and meows constantly in the car but not once we arrive at a new place. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just make sure the carrier dimensions are good, as well as vaccinations and pet passport. Try to sneak some food in. I am very protective and mama beary of my Freyja. It will be ok. I worry too but lets pray for each other.
