Thanks. I didn't know about the excessive demand thing. So good to know. Thanks so much!

No problem. They will likely still ask more questions because of it, but it shouldn't affect your application. They have to ask what they normally would even if they know that excessive demand doesn't apply for spouses.

Another question, can the letter of employment be received by email? Does it have to be mailed to me? Because my company sent me an email with it.

I would get it mailed!
but it is a letter from your company it should be alright, why would immigration think is fake?
I am not sure just my thoughts :)

you better send original but as long as you send Option C print our from CRA and T4s or paystubs, it should be ok, I sent all of them and got SA ontime

I've been living abroad for many years and don't have an Option C print out. I'm including a letter explaining and some printouts of my salary.

Sorry, for the late reply. It can be received by mail and it can be a photo copy. My husband's was a printout from his supervisor's computer anyways, who had to ask corporate for one.

It will take approximately 30 days. It will still be a while before you hear anything and get AOR.

Also, you don't have to use Option C Printouts anymore. I don't know why people keep saying this. The checklist has been updated and now says to use a Notice of Assessment. They will still accept an Option C printout, but it isn't required anymore.

Thank you. Yes, I did notice that about the Option C. I included my Italian tax assessment from 2014 as well. The 2015 won't be available until July here. Have a good evening guys. I have a big day tomorrow. Going with my husband to do the Med exam.

Good luck ;D. Yeah, as long as you include an explanation of this it will be fine. I see this sort of thing on here frequently.

Hello Everyone,

I was going to send my husband's application this week, and noticed that IMM1344 recently got updated. This form requires my husband's signature and since my husband is living outside of Canada so it will take another week or so for me to file application. Could someone please tell me if it is ok to use the old form since it just got updated today? is there a timeframe for which we can use the old forms? I am really confused, please help me.

Thanks

One more question....Do I need to include the blank forms which are not needed. e.g. Representative form. If yes, should I include them as it is?

If you use the old form, you risk having your application returned over it, or they may ask for an updated version. They'll probably return it if a form is outdated, though, so it would be best to wait until you can get the form signed. You don't need to include the blank forms that aren't applicable.

Thanks for the answer!

Thanks for drawing my attention to this. My wife and I signed all the forms last night. Just redid the IMM1344 form and will reprint today!
