I do not know why they do not mention the name of local office.
I am from Vancouver. I saw my friend's Ecas. They mentioned that it had transferred to
Vancouver local office. but for me it is: the office responsible for your area. Any idea?

it has been two months since I applied for Citizenship first time they sent application back because of Not Submitted the correct of Language test certificate but after I resent the application what they required from us and I got the AOR in April 28 2015 since then keep checking on line Status which showing the following message that: So I have seen many others people's application process is going pretty fast.

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:
•Please be sure the information you entered is correct and then try again.
•This service is only available to clients with applications in process. We may have received your application but not begun processing it yet. The following link may help you determine if your application is being processed:
Application Processing Times
•At this time, you may use this on-line service if you have: ◦sponsored a member of the family class;
◦applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
◦applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
◦applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
◦applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
◦applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
◦applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
◦applied to resume Canadian citizenship.
 
Is your given name or surname has two parts? If so, please try to enter it in different ways.
I mean with space between two part, without space or by putting '-' between them.
I had the same problem as yours.

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 15, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 15, 2015.
We started processing your application on April 16, 2015.
Your file was transferred to the Montréal office on June 25, 2015. The Montréal office will contact you.

No I did not submit the degree but I sent to CIC my language certificate
 
exactly 3 months today since application received by CIC but status still showing "Received", wondering when it will change to In Process :-[

i think it takes at least 3 months from AOR not from application receiving. i am in the same boat as you...waiting..............
 
Same boat :(.. I hope we can get this done fast.. man this waiting game is no fun for sure

looks like processing in GTA has really slowed down a lot recently as compared to last year while the Mississauga office even cancelled the test dates and will be rescheduling the same as the applicants were notified by CIC. Not sure what the issue is, may be they are overwhelmed or short staffed, hopefully this does not end up in another backlog!
