Congrats. Seems like CIC-M is gaining speed. This time only 1 day is added to the stage 1 processing (from 55 days to 56 days) and they are already sending AORs for the next week.

AOR is the email that says CIC has received the application
SA is the email that says you are eligible to sponsor and the application is sent to your visa office (in your case Vienna)

Hi guys... Good news, cic hav reached October applications... Jst check out October 2013 forum ppl till da end of mnth hav strtd getting decision made and first week got dea visas... So estimated time for dem ws 8-9 mnths. Means ours vil b by November December... Goodluck all.

This kinda depends on what office is dealing with your application. Some offices are approving people already in February and March.

Thank you for your concern. Since this thread is for sharing our pain and pleasure, my case also should not be as much personal as you think. Unfortunately, I have been unfairly charged by the Visa Office of MISREPRESENTATION of my FSW application which I had applied 4+ years ago. Now, they banned me for two years.shinningstar said:

Online it says that a decision was made and a letter was sent to me on June 2. Now, 2 weeks later, I received nothing. From Mississauga to Toronto it takes only 2 days for the mail to come. This is frustrating. Why they send mail and not email with the decision, whatever that is?
Have you tried calling the call centre? I think they will be able to tell you what the decision is. Are you applying to Quebec? If yes, then you will need the SA approval letter (email) from CIC. If not, then CIC just transfers your file to your Visa Office and you don't really need the physical SA letter really (at least that's how I know it)

I saw that in the CPC-O thread...so I guess if u have a very straight forward case, it doesnt actually take up the full 8/10/12/15 months...

Received SA this morning, Yeahhhhhhhhh. APP was received on 04/15/2015. Took 60 Days to get the SA.

We still haven't received our SA :-[

When I check app status, it's been a while where it says 'application received' for both sponsorship app status and PR app status. When I click on PR app status, under point 2., it says 'medical results have been received'. Does that mean London VO has received our file?
I called CIC, and the lady says that everything looks fine and there's no reason why I didn't get SA, since they're working on apps for April 16th now. She sent an inquiry to them. I'm thinking they just forgot about our application, which is pretty ridiculous.

It may be that they sent it by mail. I don't get why they try to send out by mail even if we already provided emails...it's so much faster...
mails can come very very late...i live about 5 hours from Ottawa in US, it took a week for the letter to get here...
i think its because they are sending it by registered mail and they take forever
