Hi Guys and Gals
I'm happy to see that a lot of April applicants are having positive outcomes for their applications. Congrats guys, it must feel like a big weight lifted from your shoulders. Happy for all of you :D :D :D ;D ;D

My application is sitting somewhere in CIC office to be reviewed by second VO, while I'm having sleepless nights. I have been suffering a great deal of stress because of the application. Hoping I'll hear from CIC very soon, before my stress gets the best of me. :P :P ::) ::)
Add me to the sheet, Apps received April 25, 2014, AOR June 5,2014
RCMP request July 15,2014.
Medical upfront Jan4,2015.
Anyone from April waiting for a 2nd review?

Happy landing to those waiting on their PP's to be returned! ;D

I'm in the same boat ! still waiting :S

Finally, my ecas status has changed:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 17, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on April 29, 2015.
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

This might sound like a dumb question, but what am I supposed to do next? I should just wait until I hear from them?

Hi, when did your eCAS change?

Not sure. I hadn't logged in for the last few days, and have just found out the change. Maybe some time between the last couple of days.

Thanks a lot! I am from a visa exempt country, but do I have to go out of Canada and cross the border once I receive COPR? I applied for PR from within Canada and am currently residing in Canada. But do I have to do the landing process to activate the PR?

Thanks and all the best to everyone! You've been really helpful.

Yes to become Canadian PR, Visa exempt applicants also need to complete landing process. All the Best.

Just go to the border and land. Once landed, call CIC to cancel your appointment if you received one.

Good luck!

I got the passport request for myself and my spouse, my spouse is in India so won't be able to submit the passport here. Hereby I reminded the Visa Office that my spouse is in India and I have requested accommodations for separate submissions for me and my spouse to Ottawa and New Delhi respectively by email. I sent them email on 30th of may but I have have not heard back from them after that. I checked the application status online now it says decision has been made.. how long it can take more to get reply back from officer ?
