Hi Guys,
is there anybody who dint sent the PCC from your homecountry with their application but CIC didnt request to get new one?

Finally I got my PPR today morning after sending renewed passports of my kids.

Thanks for all the support that I got from this thread.

Is there any approximate time line of when can we get the passports back after sending them to CIC. (3 or 4 weeks)

Hi ,

I applied for GCMS notes this week and somehow i got reply from ATIP that i need to submit consent letter for my dependent (5744E) to get the notes status, request is on hold.

I did request notes in Jan as well, and that time i was not asked same and i got notes after a month.
Is it normal or they have recently introduced consent step??

Thanks

Its normal if you wish to have info on your spouse as well, for minor children you don't need it.

New here, AOR received on May 6th 2014, so far nothing but "we received your application"

Called CIC a week ago, the lady told me my file is in Ottawa and it is a 20 month deadline and "everything is normal and nothing seems problematic", is this normal?

Hi I just got my CoPR and plan to land at a local CIC office. There are 2 errors on my visa and CoPR:
1.
On my passport
Given Name : abc xyz
Surname :[Blank]

On Visa and COPR
Given Name : [Blank]
Surname : abc xyz

2. Date of Orig entry in COPR is same as Date of last entry which is incorrect

Was wondering if these errors would prevent me from landing at a local CIC office? Thanks for your help

Is this 20 month starts from the the day you called them or since your they received you application? If you are under "Second Review" it may take a while but I doubt it will take 20 months!

Order GCMS to know what's the issue.

They can correct the date for sure. I think can correct the names as well because you can show them proof of the names. The COPR has the passport number for reference.

Friends,

My ECAS status still Application received status. My last GCMS notes says still criminality in progress but I noticed one thing in my notes, There is an Application Assignment heading followed by Assessments heading and all values are shown blank. I wonder my file was not assigned to anybody and no due date for next step. Looks to me my file is not even in queue.
Do you guys also have same blank values or at least shown with some values under Assigned To, Assigned by, Due date attributes.

Just received our passports and the CoPRs back from Ottawa, and there are no mistakes or issues. Will land at the soonest opportunity, which will probably be to head across the border over the long weekend.
Good luck to the ones still waiting!!!

I believe the 20 month is the since the day of AOR, I asked my lawyer to request for a GCMS, but he told me doing that will slow down the process.

Congrats Njafter :)

Can you please let me know total how many days did it take for your passport to come back?

Thank you.
We sent our passports away on Friday March 13, and it arrived on Monday March 16. So it was 16 days from when they received it.

For the benefit of the spreadsheet, the administrators can please add in the 'Visa Issued' line that our visas were issued on March 19, 2015.
Thanks.
