No.32 in April sheet
Medical request: 10-30-2014
Medical received: 11-25-2014
PCC request: 11-03-2014

No update since then. E-CAS status is still "application received". According to notes, Security not started, criminality in progress. Waiting nervously.

Sheet updated!

Good things will come. ;D

Me too, changed to decision made today!!

Thank you and good luck to everyone ;)

Status changed to "Decision Made":

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 25, 2014.

We started processing your application on February 26, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Have a great day, everyone! And good luck to us all.

another Tuesday passing by,,still no update on my application even though it shows online that "We started processing your application on December 3, 2014."

Updated the spreadsheet.

Hoping for the best. You have no PPR. You are from a visa-exempt country, right?

PPR is Passport Request, right? I'm unfamiliar with abbreviations haha. What do you mean by visa-exempt country exactly?

Hi Cabalen,

I was expecting that your return tracker might be activated today, as you sent your PP on March 04, 2015.
But saw someone else's tracker activated who sent after you. (On the PP tracking sheet)

Do you think the address which we sent to, (courier or the PO Box address), would make a difference?
Do you mind sharing which address did you send the PP to ??
I would appreciate that.

Thanks,
Canadiian

Oh my God... I just realized we were supposed to print and include the PPR email request in the envelope with the passport. I included a brief note saying that that was in response to the passport request email, and included my application number and client ID, but not a copy of the email. Is that going to be a problem? ???

I just paid my RPRF fee upfront. I got tired of waiting and needed to do something to ease the worry. Still no request from them for me to pay the RPRF.

Three months since I last heard from CIC, I'm getting itchy!

Yes, my friend. No worries. We are in this forum to learn and to help.

Check this website. The info in the spreadsheet states that you are a UK citizen. If this is correct then, you are from a visa-exempt country and no PPR. They will just email you your CoPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence). I'm not sure on the timeline for this case.

In case, you have a different nationality then you can check this link.

I think you are correct that is a difference between sending to courier and PO box. I've sent mine to PO box and it took 1 day to be delivered to CIC.

Just checked Canada Post right now and they have sent our passports this afternoon. No confirmed date yet for delivery.

Great. Thanks for your reply.
Hopefully you will get your PP back by Thursday, I believe.
All the best.

Folks, got my latest GCMS notes yesterday which is dated 11 February. There was a delay as I had not completed the "disclosure" form properly. I now have Eligibility showing as "RECOMMEND PASSED". Does this mean all is well. There is no mention of a review in the notes. Medical for all members of the family is "PASSED" and Criminality is "IN PROGRESS". Only thing outstanding there is Police Certificates from NZ which CIC is/was supposed to obtain themselves. It is mentioned that the Program Assistant is to request this. This could have been done months ago! Security is showing as "NOT STARTED".

Any comments?

When was your last gcms notes requested.?? could you please enlighten what all has changed since your last notes..?? i mean did your previous notes mention "REVIEW REQUIRED" for ELIGIBILITY. ??

also what are your timeslines and Ecas status.?

if you are an April applicant, and security not having started is very slow.. i had ordered notes in the end of dec 14 and when i got them in jan 15, it said the same thing... criminality: in progress, security: not started.. plus additionally REVIEW required on eligibiluity... i haved ordered by 2nd notes last week... lets see..

meanwhile can u please reply on your timelines and previus notes changes..??

@marketinglady, I can't offer you a definitive answer, but I think you will be fine. They only require your application and file numbers to link the passports with the file, so you should be OK.
