Hey! Don't worry. You're totally fine. I did send my passport along with the e-mail, but what they want - basically- it's a a way of identifying your application. That's why they ask for the e-mail. If you quote your application number, that's fine.

Hi, previous notes showed the following:

Eligibility: NOT STARTED
Security: NOT STARTED
Criminality: In Progress

There was no notes in the previous GCMS notes which was approximately 5 weeks earlier than the current GCMS notes.

Timeline is:

Application filed: 20 April 2014
AOR: 22 May 2014

When was your last gcms notes requested.?? could you please enlighten what all has changed since your last notes..?? i mean did your previous notes mention "REVIEW REQUIRED" for ELIGIBILITY. ??

also what are your timeslines and Ecas status.?

if you are an April applicant, and security not having started is very slow.. i had ordered notes in the end of dec 14 and when i got them in jan 15, it said the same thing... criminality: in progress, security: not started.. plus additionally REVIEW required on eligibiluity... i haved ordered by 2nd notes last week... lets see..

meanwhile can u please reply on your timelines and previus notes changes..??

I read the email a million times, but somehow I missed that part. I think I was too excited.

Folks, got my latest GCMS notes yesterday which is dated 11 February. There was a delay as I had not completed the "disclosure" form properly. I now have Eligibility showing as "RECOMMEND PASSED". Does this mean all is well. There is no mention of a review in the notes. Medical for all members of the family is "PASSED" and Criminality is "IN PROGRESS". Only thing outstanding there is Police Certificates from NZ which CIC is/was supposed to obtain themselves. It is mentioned that the Program Assistant is to request this. This could have been done months ago! Security is showing as "NOT STARTED".

Any comments?

You should be good. After "Recommend Passed", your file will be reviewed by a senior VO to be "Passed". This is not indicated in GCMS, ie, the next review, for this is a standard process. I speaking based on my case. I took me 3 months from that status to received RPRF. Hopefully yours will be shorter.

Finally got an agent to speak.
He says criminality and scurity not started. Eligibility nothing yet.
I alredy got medicals request.Does it mean my eligiblity should be recommened pass.

Any one please help me in knowing the status

This is the form which gives my wife's consent to disclose her information to me.

Section C of this form needs to be filled out with the name of the person who the information can be disclosed to - i.e. me the applicant!!

Gotcha! Got confused with the forms submitted for CEC. I was thinking delay in your CEC application but it's actually delay in your GCMS.

Gotcha! Got confused with the forms submitted for CEC. I was thinking delay in your CEC application but it's actually delay in your GCMS.

I have the same mistake last week when I ordered another GCMS. They sent me an email to provide a new consent form for I have also missed filling up section C.

Please help....Is the declaration form named "IMM5744E" to be field for getting Spouse Information under Privacy act (GCMS Notes) along with mine info. Or any other form...
If IMM5744E is the form to be field then...Is my understanding correct that... Section - A - my details, Section -B - Spouse Details and Section - C - again my details... And finally upload this Form online at last step while applying for GCMS Notes under Privecy act. Many thanks !

Country of Citizenship hence your passport only comes with your citizenship.

hey i hv recommend passed too... can you share when did they ask you rprf what date... i paid my upfront ... no idea when i will get ppr...its in process right now...

I have just received GCMS notes that I requested Feb 18. The notes say "RECOMMENDATION: Appear to meet requirements". The only issue they had: "NOTES: Requesting proof of CDN Cit for spouse"

My concern is however that they didn't seem to have received my husband's birth certificate. They requested it on Feb 5, and I emailed it the very next day, but no update is shown in my GCMS notes issued on Feb 18. Is this normal? How long does it usually take (roughly) for files to be updated?
