It is a recommendation to send both thru email (pdf copies) and photocopies thru snail mail (post). This is to make sure that CIC will receive them.

My ECAS is still In-Process. Is it normal? My VO maybe forgot to change the status to Decision Made...

That's normal. :D

As Canadiian said, you already have PPR. Just wait for your passport and relax....

Did you guys send the RPRF receipt both by email and by mail?

Thanks!

I send it by email only and have received PPR request . I think email will suffice.

Hi,
I have removed Internet access to view the status from https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/viewcasest...

Does removing Internet access will affect my application?
I removed it because I don't trust my manager and don't want anyone to snoop into my status. They have copy of my bowp.

It should not affect your application.

There are information you need to input before opening your eCAS account. Your manager knows all these infos?

Hi,
While sending emails to CIC , what format you guys used ?
I mean in subject what did you mention and in body how you referred the application # etc ?

I have recently sent some documents to CIC , that time I have given application # - the document name
and in Body staring two lines are
Application #
UCI #:
Then the actual matter....

Is this ok ?

I'm a June 2014 applicant but need urgent advice from you that are a bit further than me.
I have done my medicals last week and confirmed with the doctor that the results were sent to CIC this Monday. My ECAS shows only 1 line – in process.
I haven’t received nor the request for fee, nor passport request emails. We are currently in Canada with an LMO and CIC processing our PR is Ottawa.
My husband needs to travel and stay away for a month from next week. Should I make him do some PR photos in case these are requested while he is away?

How long after you receive the email for passport request do they give you to submit them?

HEllo,,

YOu dont need to keep photos for him... cause youn already sent with application.SO only passport ou need!

You question is confusing . You are saying PR photos, these are the photos required during the submission of the application which I believed you have sent already.

So I'm guessing your are asking if you can keep a photocopy of your husband passport.

First question, are from a visa-exempt country? If yes, then there is no PPR and just wait for CoPR.

If not, once you received your PPR and can't comply within the 30 days they require, reply back to CIC and explain that your husband is out of the country and will send them your passports in such and such dates. Photocopies won't do you any good for CIC will stamp your Visas there.
