That's great news! Hope you get PPR soon! At least someone from the April's thread should get PPR c'mon!

Edit: About guessing... someone got PPR after having 1 day -In Progress- status while others have been waiting for ages! Let's hope you'll get it in 2-3 weeks as it normally takes! (as TJ said below)

Just saw that the status changed to 'in progress'.
Have done my medical in Nov and have paid RPRF upfront.
They have started working on my file on 12thFeb.

Any guesses on how much time will it take get PPR ?

within 2 or 3 weeks i guess :)

What the situation for April application?

Couple of people got PPR....
Rest all are either waiting for RPRF, PPR or Mr....

No sign of anyone's file movement....

All are worried.... Thinking like CIC forget April Applicants

Hi everyone, I have been reading this forum for a while.

I have a question regarding status change from single to common-law. I didn't know that i have to include my partner, who is a permanent resident, as a common law since he is not sponsoring me. My application is independent of myself only. I have filed as single, and this is an honest mistake in my part as i am not aware of it, until i have read some forums today about it. I am an April 2014 applicant and done with MR, waiting for RPRF.

Can i still update my status at this stage? Who will i need to contact about it? Will this affect my application time, since he is not sponsoring me and he is a pr?

I will appreciate any response. Thanks.

Hi,
Has any april applicabt heard from CIC after second review? Can u guys share your dates of date filled and second review date?

Thanks

Hi guys, I was just wondering if it´s possible that CIC would reject the application after status was changed to "in process"?
Thanks!

Yes it is possible. Status is not indication that you passed CEC all criteria

Good Luck

Hi there,

What do you mean by "My application is independent of myself only"?
I'm, by no means, an expert on this, but I think that if your partner is already a PR, you don't need to add him to your application- by that I mean you don't need to count him on that form that asks how many family members are applying for PR; you only need to put one (considering you don't have kids, etc.), and you only pay the fee for one person. However, you should've probably included him in that form that asks information about your family, including spouse and common-law partner, mother, and father.

Now, if you're saying you didn't even include him in the form about your family, I'm not too sure how you should let CIC know. Maybe a senior member could help with this?

All the best!
