Just received my GCMS notes:

Eligibility: In Progress
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Passed

So far so good. In the notes for eligibility, it states that I am recommended passed.

For criminality, RCMP screening and Country's police clearance: No reportable trace. Not sure what they are waiting for here for it is still in progress.

If I don't receive any RPRF request this year, I will pay it on the first week of 2015.

Hi Cabalen,

I just read ur post, congrats :)

I would like to share my exp, I had sent a gcms request exactly next day to my med request(i was curious lol). My notes said the same thing as yours.
I got the RPRF after 12 days of med (by then my med's were updated in ecas) and PPR abt 39 days after med request.

I have another gcms ordered a week after ecas went to inprogress (6 days before ppr). I am waiting for it to arrive, so I will know more :)

So depending on ur country of origin (mine - India), your security etc will be finished soon n u might get RPRF in next batch n PPR arnd jan mid i think. Things are a bit slow in CIC at this point of time, so we all need a lot of patience :D

I am waiting for my copr n pp at this point like MJ009. Good Luck!

Hello everyone.
So far so i know, those who applied PR under CEC on April 2014, Still no one got medical. but one of my friend got call from Immigration Canadanand she did some mistakes with what she applied and immigration officer answered, he is not happy with her replied and she got rejection last week. She applied in March 2014.

Hope all is well. and all the best all.

If you see april 2014 spreadsheet, many of them got MR's. Some of them COPR/PPR too. Even March 2014 batch has made much progress. If you have applied in apr 2014, probably you might want to order GCMS to see what is the progress in ur application

Step1 ) Eligibility passed (So far so good. In the notes for eligibility, it states that I am recommended passed. ) = Medical Request
Ultimately, this part is over from CIC side.

Step2 ) Eligibility, Criminality and Security passed (In Progress + In Progress + Not started )= Right of Permanent Resident Fees
I think most of the people are waiting for RPRF request but paid upfront. Hence, all are stuck up here b'cas CIC is very slow down after 25th November.

MR passed + RPRF received = Passport Request
(step1+Step2) = Passport Request

All people are stuck up here at Criminality and Security verification(it has done in background) but, VOs are on holiday or CIC don't want to work in December b'cas Express Entry will be launched.

sjulien really good explanation....

I didn't received Medical Request and my status says Application Received. Under Application Received it says Medical results have been received.
So do you think I passed Eligibility and in process of RPRF? I paid RPRF upfront and my status is still not changed. I also send RPRF paid email to CIC cost recovery address and CIC ottawa address.

Comments by Harshad Patel makes me scared that can CIC reject application after receiving Medical Results.?

Hi Cabalen,

Thanks for sharing the notes with us. So far we can predict the same with our application.

Just got the following note from CIC:

Dear applicant,

We have not received your completed medical results. Please contact your physician and ensure that your results were submitted to our health branch.

Regards,

I am really pissed off.
