Hey guys
I have a question.

I am still waiting for my ECAS status to go to "inprocess". My application ws receieved on 28th feb 2014.
I have not yet paid the RPRF.
What i wanted to know was:

1) In my case, will i get an email asking me to pay the RPRF fee..and the PPR at the same time or two different emails.? 2 different emails - Request for RPRF payment and Ready for Visa
2) I dont really want to pay the RPRF unfront and want to wait for them to ask me to pay. is that a bad approach./.? If it is not such a bad thing, how delayed my processing might become, 1-2 weeks or much longer..? This should have no real effect to your application. It all depends to the application itself

Quick question: they ask if anything has changed during this time (got married, adopted a child, etc). I actually got married to my common-law partner, who's a Canadian citizen. At the time of my application, I informed CIC I had a common-law partner, submitted evidence and all. I should still inform them that I have got married though, right?

Regarding my question last night about passport expiration date.......I have called CIC and was told that there is no rule for the expiration date. It does not matter when the passport will expire, however it has to be valid at the moment I land.

So, I am good! Will renew it after.

You are lucky buddy. In my case, they asked me to provide new valid passport copy and I don't have new passport. Hence, I applied for renewal and dropped a mail to CIC.

I got a mail on 4 March regarding to submit new passport. After 3/4 days, ECAS status has changed as in-process and we started your application on 4 March.

Let's wait. Hopefully you will get passport request sooner.

Help needed!!

I just got an email asked for RPRF for my CEC application, not sure if I need to pay because I paid RPRF for my PNP application about a month ago, I still have the receipt, can I just send that receipt for my CEC application?

Please advise, much appreciated！！
