May be its an old question, but can you please tell me the way to order the GCMS notes. Would appreciate.

Unnder PRivacy act. Its pretty quick, won't take more than 5 mins. and it is free if you are in Canada

Find below some useful info.

1. Visit https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Scroll down and check the box "I have read, understood and agree with the above Privacy Notice." and Submit.
3. Select CIC from the drop down. (first field)
4. Select Individual/Corportation present in Canada (Second drop down)
5. Fill in your details (Self explanatory)
6. Select Member of public for "Select the category that best describes you"
7. select "E-mail" for "How would you prefer to receive the requested records" ( choose the mode you are comfortable with)
8. Continue to next page.
9. You dont need to attach any additional documents, unless you want to prove something.
10. Select Privacy Act in next page
11. Submit the final request. Once you submitted the request, wait for one month.

Also you have to select case files in one of the drop down box.
I ordered yesterday and was pretty quick

Under Privacy act, I would like to get information for entire family details too. I understand I need to upload consent letter however which option I have to choose to enable details for my spouse too..

You can't get info on your family under Privacy Act - only on yourself. Most of the information about your family in GCMS notes will be removed.

You can't get info on your family under Privacy Act - only on yourself. Most of the information about your family in GCMS notes will be removed.

Nope this is not Correct Info .
I myself applied GCMS under Privacy Act and got info for my Wife and Kid
Only thing which you need to do is consent form upload for both
That's all

Type of Documents: Physical File should be Electronic File. Physical files can delay your application.
File Type: Immigration file: permanent residence

You can get info for all who you mention as dependent . Just upload consent form for all (for less than 18 year child sign yourself on Consent)

I ordered GCMS using above step and got info for all family members

remember separate consent form for each members.
in 3rd page (once you click next button) their are option for upload docs their you can upload it

also you need to apply under privacy Act (if you are in Canada)

if you don't provide consent , the dependent info will be blank (can't assure as I never did this but heard from Forum members)
Yes in Notes section form VO , you will get summary of Problem (if any) and final recommendation by VO

I am planning on paying upfront RPRF. Should I pay $490 per member in the application? For example, I filed the PR application for myself and my wife (wife being dependent). Should I pay $490x2 = $980?
