Cabalen ,
I think you had done here correct. Share some experience.
I am going to take passport and document which received from CIC.
But it is too far from Toronto.
As I have shared before. He is fast and we are highly satisfied.
We were booked at 12:45pm. My wife and filled up some forms including the our kids' forms while the kids play in the lobby. There were toys there and magazines as well. We didn't need to wait for anything and immediately went to take photo inside the clinic then ask us to submit urine samples. Dr. Garrett is the one who performed the physical exams. He interviewed us with regard to our medical history and how the whole the process. He will give you a graph and timeline when all the results will be done and when he will be submitting the results. He also described to us what medical issues CIC is very critical with and what each exam (physical, blood, xray) is achieving.
After physical, Dr. Garrett will walk you through the blood lab and x-ray. He will ask you to go first to blood lab on the 2nd floor in the same building. Ask how you need to wait. If it's more than 20mins, go immediately to the x-ray lab to save time. In the blood lab, just give the medical technician the forms the doctor gave you. We waited for 10mins and another 10mins to get our blood. We then went to x-ray on the basement beside the doctor's clinic. They know we were coming and just told them our name. It was 5 mins of wait and less then 10mins for x-rays. By 2:30pm we were done.
So we did our medical Nov. 6 and Dr. Garrett emailed me on Nov 10 that the results have been submitted and there were no issues found. That's 3 business days as he promised. My eCas updated on Nov. 14 that our medicals have been received.
In case you need info going there, it usually takes 1 hour and 20 mins from Toronto to Kitchener. I hope the weather tomorrow will cooperate with you. Probably allot 2 hours going to Kitchener. Always check the news for the traffic. Hwy 401 west has had crazy long traffic lately because of the snow fall. Anyway, once you get to Hwy 8, go to the inner (leftmost lane). For it will split to three at the end of that highway. Go straight to Kitchener downtown (King St East) and turn left unto Victoria St. These street will be a slow drive due to traffic lights but this should be plowed not like other side streets. After you passed Victoria and Westmount, to the left is the green building you need to go to. Use the elevator and to to the basement. We tried using the stairs and we can't figure out how to go to basement.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
