Guys I have a question. If the doctor doesn't call you back and uploads the medicals (sending confirmation by email), does that mean that I passed the medicals and there was nothing wrong?
CIC has accredited doctors(DMP) to do Immigration Medical Examinations .
Generally Most of the doctors while Start of Examinations say " No News is good News" , this is quite a common generic statement they Make and most of the time its true, reason behind it - DMP prepares a medical report of each applicant in an prescribed format and for for every Test there are set guidelines/Process flow set by CIC which DMP needs to follow for ex Urine Test Read the Algorithm in PDF . For ex first urine Test is abnormal than DMP should ideally do a retest to ensure and make certain any false results .
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/IMEI_Urinanalysis.pdf
If its again abnormal , He will have to do extra Tests as per the Flow .
Along with it DMP has to give a rating to Medical Test Performed on Applicant , If you fall under point 2 and Point 3 rating you are inadmissible to Canada under CEC Class.
1)Admissible codes (M1, M2 and M3)
M1 :No public health risk or danger, no public safety danger and no excessive demand
M2 : Potential risk to public health. Medical surveillance required. Conditional entry recommended if granted entry to Canada.
For example, applicants may be a “risk” due to a communicable disease that may reactivate, such as inactive tuberculosis.
M3 : A health condition(s) is present but is not expected to place an excessive demand on health or social services.
2)Excessive demand exempt code (M19, M29 and M39)
3) Inadmissible codes (M4, M5 and M6)
According to the rating if suppose you fall under M2 and M3 , DMP send the recommended medical report to Regional Medical Office ( Which means he upload the results to CIC) , RMO is you can say where CIC employees are doctors . They can analyze your results and according to adequate result provide may or may not require additional Tests .
Bottom Line - If doctor rates you M1 I believe most of the times you have passed the Test and of course he will not call you back.
M2 and M3 - If Doctor has followed all the set guidelines set by CIC , He will call you as I explained in above case of Urine Test to make things certain .
RMO has a full right where they can cross DMP recommendation and can order additional Test specifically in case of M2 and M3.
I hope , I manage to clarify.
