Hi pimp, so as long as CIO received our application prior to the expiry of our LOA, there's no need to worry, right? What if they returned our application, and our LOA was already expired? What do you think will happen to our nomination? Are you also a filipino? Ang ipinag woworry ko lang naman talaga eh baka bumalik ulit application namin tas un LOA namin eh expired na, paano na yun nomination namin? thank u hope to hear a reply from u again. God bless

fyi, i think our language is not allowed here, we can only use it in filipino thread.. ;D

anyway, right.. you don't have to worry about that, as long as they received it before the expiration date of your loa you're good to go,.. if your loa already expired, you can request an extension in mpnp.. i hope they will not return your papers.. good luck..

How do you come to know? As files usually gets transferred to relevant visa office based on your residence right after AOR.

So how it shifted from Manila to Abu Dhabi?

I have indicated Manila VO as the office I wish process in my application. In my AOR, it is clearly stated that my file will be transferred to the VO which I INDICATED in my application. However, I begin to doubt that my file was indeed transferred to Manila after not receiving an MR after 30 days from AOR date whereas fellow March/April-CEM applicants received theirs.

FYI, I'm residing here in Saudi Arabia together with my family for the last 15 years and due to this reason why CIO opted (yes! they have this prerogative!) to transfer my file to ADVO instead of CEM. But the problem is my family will leaving KSA for good this coming July and I'll follow suit this coming August.

Now, my predicament is whether to wait till ADVO (since I've waited for almost 2 months already!) issues an MR or to immediately request ADVO to transfer of my file to Manila.... ??? ??? ???

Thanks for your prompt response.

Glad to know about you and even l live in Oman and when I got AOR, it was only saying that application will be forwarded to visa office for further processing. But upon enquiry, I was told that London visa office and even after more than 2 months since AOR, I have no update. Even I have checked online status from official Canada site but nothing except my name.

so I do not know how long it will take just to get medical test?

no worries. you submitted your application before july 4th, you will be fine.
i sent off my package april 8th, i didnt get my AOR till june 3rd. so its all about patience, fingers crossed for you !

Please help, my ViSa application was received by CIO-NS last May 1, and still no AOR from CIO, my worry is our MPNP FAMILY STREAM NOMINATION will expire this july 4, what if there is still no reply frommthe CIO Till the expiration date of our nomination? What do you think will happend in our application? Its been 55days from now, and still no Aor from CIO, another thing is this is our 2nd visa application, the 1st one, was returned after 49 days, due to lack of documents on my spouse behalf. What do you think is the best thing to do? Should we email and follow up our application before or after expiraton? Hope to hear a reply from u, thank you.

Good job again.. I am new on this forum so please I submitted my PNP-Manitoba online in March 20, 2013 and I have been replied via email with a Manitoba filing number. For now I am waiting. Please does my own scenario fall into those been. Tracked on your tracking sheet? And please secondly, is the filing number the same as the AOR? If yes, then what should I expect after the Filing number which I got since March 20, 2013? Thanks a lot Movado

I'm new too. I have no idea what all the abbreviations are, but I worked out MR is Medical Request.

Hi! I received my MR via email. The subject line reads:REQUEST FOR MEDICAL EXAM(S)/Application for Canada and it is from RE-MANIL.IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca.

So I guess the "from" line will be different depending on the visa office, but I don't know if the content varies. The email's content is this:

Dear _____:


This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order to continue processing your application, we require:

Complete medical examinations for yourself and, if applicable, for your spouse/common-law partner and all your dependent children.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR MEDICAL FORM(S) AND INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE SENT SEPARATELY TO THE SAME E-MAIL ADDRESS(ES) WITHIN 72 HOURS.

You should make arrangements to undergo the required medical examinations immediately. Failure to do so within thirty (30) days from the date of this letter may lead to the refusal of your application.

Kindly check your e-mail regularly (including your Inbox, Spam and Junk Folders) as you will be notified of any further instructions or requirements via e-mail.

The application number noted above must be included on all correspondence with this office.

Then they email the aforementioned form/s the next day. BTW, I received my MR after 21 days from getting the Acknowledgement Receipt or AOR. You can check the lead times in our tracking sheet (for those who haven't checked it out, you can look for the link in Movado's posts).

Kindly change my visa office to ADVO. I received a confirmation from CEM that my file is in ADVO. Meanwhile, I have already formally requested a file transfer from ADVO to CEM. I hope ADVO will grant my request.
