is it possible that visa officer reject my spouse's PR? note that we are on same application. In his notes he wrote that all the requirements are met but he is not satisfied with the genuineness of marriage.

I doubt that..if you get it spouse should get it too. He is not satisfied may be coz you guys have been leaving apart ??

no no..they won't and can't do that if you have genuine marriage..

how long have you been married? did you ever try for his visa/work permit? do you marriage pictures/video?

I got married in 2010 and lived there for 4-5 months and since then i am in canada n never went back. we have wedding pics and video. he tried work permit as well as visitor but got refused.

just to let you know ..if you receive a call from unknown number, do pick it up... yes do pick it up..it may be from CIC...they may ask you for some information about your spouse... happened to me..

when the due date was assigned? and where your file was when your file was assigned date..in india or canada?

That's painful....try to apply for his visitor visa and include letter of no objection from his employer. I did that too for my husband for his Canadian visitor visa....his employer stated that they have no objection in sending my husband on a 15 day vacation to Canada.....Don't include stuff that's not required....They basically need intention to come back...in ur invite...write that u want to celebrate Christmas with him in Canada and want to go to West to see rocky mountains...cook up a story....include ur bank statements and say that u will be taking care of his entire visit....and i'm sure ur husband will get visitor visa..then he can always apply for open work permit here..and yes..apply for only single entry visa...multiple entry visa always gets rejected....They don't want people to celebrate Christmas alone..it's a time family visit each other...right? try it..

I tried it already and they got rejected with the reason that purpose of visit is not clear and have no sufficient funds. I wrote them that we want to celebrate our 3rd wedding ani. together and showed them about 50k for funds.
