Someone gave me that wrong info then

hey sheb, mine expires in May 2014 too I do not think you need a valid PR, just take your expired with you (unless you want to travel then you need to extend it). I will need to extend mine. Have you got your test date already?

and I see an update on e-CAS:
"We sent you a notice on November 20, 2013 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 9, 2013 ... The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us."
