On a related note, I submitted my application on the first week of March, got the e-case updated the first week of May and got my "Discover Canada" package the last week of May. Although its completely illogical that a A4 size package would take more than 3 weeks to reach you (even if its from eastern Canada to the western province?). Hope this helps.

Thank you for your input. I guess we'll need to look into June for updates about April applications.

My appl. was received on April 12,2013. And just moved to an other province. Try to update online my address but can't. My case is not in the system yet. Called them and they said call back in 2 mo. .

We applied on April 15, no news/updates yet. I don't think we'll have to wait for 2 months to get the update. Our cases should be available on ecas by the end of this month. Fingers crossed......

What updates are you waiting for? Acknowledgement of receipt? you can call CIC and they can confirm for you.
Otherwise, 6 to 12 months until your application can be processed. If lucky (no RQ), you can get citizenship 12 months from now.
