Congratulations! Suin please do share your oath day experience from start to finish. And what all did you take with you.

Thank you guys. :) At the oath they first took our PR cards, then we listened to the judge, said oath, received the citizenship certificate, signed it, sang the anthem... at the end took pictures with the judge.

The documents that they require to bring with you for the ceremony are usually mentioned in the oath letter. We had PR cards, the Landing papers with and my drivers license us. But they even did not look at any of those, just took the PR cards and told us to go take our seats.

Thank you. :) That's really good news from your side! They are working fast on all applications, including the non-routine ones! Congratulations! :)

I am really happy that Suin got her/his citizenship, and I suspect that we are all very happy for her/him and we rejoice but....

Can we go back to keeping track of the applications?....it looks like this thread is losing focus

Yes this thread is about keeping track of applications... but it is also for all April 2013 applicants to help support each other during this process - whether via information or simply words of encouragement or congratulations

Right...and once you get your citizenship you are no longer an applicant and you are done with the process...one more reason to go back to the original topic. Like I said, we are all happy that Suin got her/his citizenship, we have congratulated her/him repeatedly, but the rest of us has not and we want to keep the thread on focus, I assume, which is posting any advance or advice on different aspects of the lengthy process.
