Hey guys, today we got citizenship test request in the mail. The test will be at Mississauga location on January 18, 2014.

Citizenship test request: Dec 2013

Congratulations! I guess they're done with tests and oath ceremonies for December...

Did they check every single page of the passport?
Did they check the original immigrant visa and the stamp when you landed?

For me, the interviewer carefully checked every page and EVERY stamp. I had a lot of them so my interview was longer than normal. She didn't ask me too many questions about each visit because I told her upfront that all my visits to the US were family related (I am originally from the US) and to visit my US wife who I sponsored to Canada. The key thing for me was that I had good reason for the visits. I even told her that CIC looks at past frequent visits to see your spouse as a good thing to prove your relationship is legitimate when you apply for sponsorship and she said "yes, that is true". She also noted that my wife is now in Canada and my trips to the US have diminished since then. I also came prepared with several years of NOAs and a letter from my Canadian employer that I have been a full-time employee for many years. She made copies of those. So even though I had a lot of travel, I was able to present a strong case that my reasons were valid and that my have strong intentions to stay in Canada for the long term.

Just back from the test. Passed with 100 score. Interview went fast - 5 minutes maximum. Was told that ceremony letter would be sent in mail.
