Looks like my application was received by Sydney, NS today. Guess I am in the April group. Didn't find any so I started one. Any one else applying in April?

Hi there im gonna submit my application this week. Just need to verify one thing, for the generic application form question #4 (Immigration Office requested for processing this application) should I write CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia, CA or is there any specific Immigration Office? Im from Edmonton, Alberta. Thanks!

I hope to get my application off this month. Just waiting for some paperwork.....

In regards to question above as - 'Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application'. I'm from Australia so am I right in saying I put Sydney, Australia as immigration office and then I send the application to Sydney, Nova Scotia?

i have sent the application yesterday through express -Canada post , but till now no tracking details available , how munch time it will take to show tracking status in Canada post website? any idea.

Check later in the day today and you should be able to see the tracking..

I hope you didnt drop ur application in one of those streetboxes.. Its important and I wont prefer doing that..

If you handed it to a canada post outlet than tracker should show it instantly...

Re: Visa offices. If you apply from within Canada, I think we all send it to Sydney, Nova Scotia.
And I believe after that they send your application to the visa immigration office depending where you live or where you are from.

Economic Class Applications
Using the map below, find your country of nationality or country/territory where you have been legally admitted for one year.
Select the information bubble for your country/territory to find out which visa office is responsible for processing your application.
Indicate this visa office in your application.
Mail your application to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Re: Canada Post. If you sent by Xpress or Priority, you should have a tracking number. Check the status on the Canada Post website. You also have the option to put your email address so you get notification of when it is received.
I made a tiny mistake to send it to the courrier address instead of the normal mail address. But hope there won't be problem. I sent my package last Tuesday March 26th. It was supposed to arrive on Thursday March 28th. But I guess because of the long holidays, it took longer and didn't arrive untul Tuesday Apr 1nd. But they gave me full refund for it.

If I made a mistake in the information above please correct me.

Do you mean that you got a refund from Canada post for a delay in delivery?
